Abstract

This article demonstrates a clinical case of botulinum toxin type A without a hemagglutinin complex application in a patient with a rare type of nystagmus. Patient L. 1 year 9 months old with manifestations of spasmus nutans(oscillatory eye movements, head nodding, and anomalous head position), who underwent chemodenervation of oculomotor muscles using botulinum toxin type A without hemagglutinin complex. The use of chemodenervation in patients with nystagmus is one of the methods of effective treatment of this pathology. Key words: nystagmus, chemodenervation, botulinum toxin type A, spasmus nutans
