Based on the statistics of 2020 local electionsthe author analyzes the participation in the electioncampaign of 27 leaders of national cultural associationsin Transcarpathian region. Among them are publicorganizations of Transcarpathian Roma (14 persons),Hungarians (5 persons), Ruthenians (4 persons),Romanians (2 persons), Slovaks and Germans (1 personeach). 12 leaders of minority ethnic groups in Zakarpattiaregion became People's Deputies. In particular, 6leaders of the Roma ethnic community (Yuriy Mandych,Myroslav Horvat, Ivan Yonash, Rudolf Pap, EduardTyrpak, Leonid Brezhynsky), 4 leaders of the Hungarianethnic community (Vasyl Brenzovych, Ildiko Oros, IstvanDobsha, Kalman Horvat), 1 leader of the Slovak (ErnestHorvat) and 1 leader of the German (Julia Types) ethnicgroups. The election campaign was unsuccessful for theleaders of Ruthenian and Romanian national culturalassociations. The article clarifies the political party representation ofcandidates. In particular, the most candidates representedthe «Party of Your City» (5 persons), which is due tothe technical candidacy of Roma leaders in Uzhgorod. The candidates from «KMKSZ» Party of Hungarians ofUkraine (4 persons) are well-known leaders of Hungariancommunity, both at the regional level (Vasyl Brenzovych,Ildiko Oros) and at the local level (Istvan Dobsha, PalPopovych). The political parties «Native Transcarpathia»(Leonid Brezhinsky, Myroslav Horvat, Ernest Horvat),«Batkivshchyna» (Eduard Tyrpak, Svitlana Adam, YuliaTyps), «Opposition Platform – For Life» (Zoltay Adam,Dymytriy Sydor, Yuriy Shipovych) and the party «Forthe Future» (Kalman Horvat, Yuriy Prodan, MykolaBobynets) are positioned by three representatives. «Theteam of Andriy Baloga» (Ivan Yonash, Artem Lenyo) and«Servant of the People» (Arseniy Bohar, Maria Lavryuk)are represented by two persons. The Democratic Partyof Hungarians of Ukraine was represented in the localelections by the Roma leader of Berehove Rudolf Pap.Political Party «Strength and Honor» was representedthe head of Romanian Youth Association «M. Eminescu»Ivan Bokoch. The most fragmented in the political party spectrumin the 2020 local elections was the Roma community ofZakarpattia region: a total of 14 Roma leaders stood ascandidates from a total of 7 political parties. This indicatesthe lack of consolidation at the level of the Roma communityin coordination of political agenda and development ofthe united social and political platform for the Roma inTranscarpathia. With the exception of Kalman Horvat,a local representative from Beregovo («For the Future»),all Hungarian leaders represented the «KMKSZ» Partyof Hungarians of Ukraine. Four leaders of Ruthenianpublic organizations «divided» the political politicalrepresentation between the «Opposition Platform – ForLife» and the party «For the Future». Two Romanianleaders split in views between the «Strength and Honor» and«Servant of the People» parties. The election campaign ofthe leader of Slovak minority Ernest Horvat at the level ofUzhhorod («Native Transcarpathia») and the leader of theGerman youth community of Transcarpathia Julia Taips atthe level of Mukachevo («Batkivshchyna») was successful
