Abstract

The article justifies the expediency of singling out four sublevels of foreign language communicative competence A1 of primary school pupils, and the corresponding types of elementary foreign language communication, specifi-ally protocommunication at the level A1.1.2. Typical speech operations and optimal for 7-8 -year-old children communicative techniques are determined. The methodology of their application in educational process based on a new German kit is demonstrated.
