Abstract

The article describes current approaches to profiling the shape of the flow paths of centrifugal compressor stages in the meridional plane. The problems that arise when profiling such products are identified. An approach to the profiling the impeller in the meridional plane is proposed, based on the calculation of the trajectories of the movement of an elementary mass of gas in a force field. As a criterion ensuring the defect-free nature of the gas flow, the law of linear change in gas-dynamic parameters along the length of the flow path is selected.
