Abstract

With the use of regression analysis, we calculated the elasticity of labor efficiency
by education level of the employed population. The analysis included regional
data from the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia.
The implemented methodology is based on econometric models of labour
productivity in the regions of the Siberian Federal District of Russia. It is shown
that the level of education of the working population is a significant factor
in determining the productivity of labour in the regions of the Siberian Federal
 District of Russia.
