بيروت حاضنة الحضارات، ومرکز التواصل بين الشعوب. دمرت بسبب انفجار طال مرفأها العريق. في الساعة السادسة وثماني دقائق مساء يوم الثلاثاء 4 أغسطس، دوى انفجار ضخم نتجت عنه سحابة دخانية على شکل فطر عيش الغراب المشروم الشهير، ارتفعت 100 متر على أقل تقدير في العنبر رقم 12 في مرفأ بيروت، وهو الميناء البحري الرئيس في لبنان، مخلفة عصفا انفجاريا تدميريا رهيبا من جراء اشتعال 2750 طن من مادة نترات الأمونيوم(Ammonium nitrate) التي کانت قد خزنت بطريقة غير صحيحة في ميناء العاصمة اللبنانية، منذ العام 2013. أدى هذا الانفجار الهائل الذي هز بيروت إلى خسائر فاقت قيمتها ثلاثة مليارات دولار، بحسب التقديرات الرسمية. فما هو تأثير هذا الانفجار على لبنان من الناحية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية والآثرية؟ وکيف يمکن النهوض بلبنان والمساعدة في الحفاظ على البيوت التراثية والمواقع الأثرية المحيطة بموقع الانفجار؟ وهل سيعي المسؤولين خطورة الوضع وهل سيصار إلى محاسبة المتسبب ومحاربة الفساد والإهمال المستشري؟ الکلمات الدالة: انفجار- بيروت- الحفريات الإنقاذية- التراث The impact of the Beirut Port explosion on the architectural and archaeological heritage in Lebanon Archaeological sites - museums - heritage houses Abstracrt: Beirut is the incubator of civilizations and the center for communication between peoples.
