Abstract
The article examines 1909-1910 changes that concerned the formation of an old-age insurance fund of the Ministry of Justice. The problems of financing the old-age insurance fund are revealed. The motives and procedure for adopting the law of 4 February 1910, which established a new system of salary deduction rates for the old-age insurance fund participants, are analysed. The conclusion is made that measures to raise judicial officials’ salary and changes in the system of salary deduction rates led to essential growth of deductions to the old-age insurance fund of the Ministry of Justice.
