Abstract
Based on a critical analysis of a publication by Svetlana Vlasova, the article discusses some controversial aspects of the digitalization of Russian criminal proceedings. The author develops a discussion about the possibility of automating the investigation of crimes and making procedural decisions, expanding the principles of private prosecution in a criminal case, introducing new standards of evidence.
