Abstract
The proposed material examines the musical activity. Perception in preschool and primary school age, through the great opportunities and diversity of instrumental music. The following is considered: the specifics of getting acquainted with a new musical work in preschool and primary school age; the preliminary preparation of the teacher; selection of musical examples with sound and sound imitation and program works. The repertoire proposals with works by Bulgarian composers prevail. Conclusions have been made. The study, analysis, discussion of various instrumental models is a step forward in preparing future students to educate and cultivate criteria, taste and aesthetics, to expand their common culture, to comprehend and understand the musical language.
