Abstract
The article is devoted to the issue of ensuring the availability of facilities and services for persons with disabilities in the infrastructure of a modern metropolis. This topic is of importance and relevance because in our time the themes of tolerance, equal rights have acquired special significance in society, as discussions are being actively conducted in the media. The very concept of a barrierfree environment has become a social phenomenon and today the state is actively cooperating with societies representing the rights of persons with disabilities and the media are increasingly notified of this problem.
