Abstract
The article discusses the phenomenon of public diplomacy in the context of strengthening the cultural immunity of the society. It highlights that the culture serves as the base for the formation of the relations with the world, with other people and allows a person to enrich his picture of the world. The author notes that public diplomacy in today's controversial and difficult conditions can and should act as one of the main factors of the country's soft power, which is crucial in the contours of foreign policy communications being an important resource for strengthening the joint responsibility of the citizens. It optimizes the possibilities for the dialogue between the state and the society within the framework of harmonizing the discourse of internal political communications.
