Abstract

The paper presents the results of laboratory experience in studying the sowing qualities and morphometric parameters of seedlings of spring barley seeds of the Yaromir variety using seed treatments before sowing with microbiological preparations. The production of spring barley in modern conditions remains a priority in agricultural production. At the same time, the need for obtaining high yields with a minimum amount of chemicals increases. One of the ways to reduce the chemical load is to use seed treatments with microbiological preparations. As a result of the study, it was found that a microbiological preparation based on the strain KL-10 (Pseudomonas sp.) isolated from the barley rhizosphere had a positive effect on germination energy and laboratory germination of seeds, as well as on an increase in the mass of 100 sprouts and roots, and their length. This drug is the most promising for studying in the practice of agricultural production.
