Abstract
the article presents the results of a study of promising directions for increasing food security of the Russian Federation and China based on the development of Russian pork exports to the Far East. The pig population in the countries of the world was analyzed. Environmental factors hindering the development of pig farming in China have been identified. Opportunities for the development of Russian pig farming based on increasing export supplies to the Far East have been identified.
