Abstract
The role of professor O. Dmytrouk in the practical training of geographers. The article was prepared based on the personal memories of the author. The main attention is paid to the winter educational and methodological practice, which took place in the second half of the 1990s at the Faculty of Geography at the Yasinyan educational and scientific base of the Faculty of Geography of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Rakhiv District, Zakarpattia Oblast). This practice was initiated by Oleksandr Dmytruk.
