Abstract

Cystoid macular edema (cmE) is the main reason for decreased vision in case of retinal vein occlusions. Тhe purpose of the work is to determine optimal terms for the use of ozurdex implant in the combined algorithm of treatment of cystoid macular edema associated with occlusion of the central retinal vein (ocrV) and its tributaries (ocrVt). Аnalysis of the correlation of the eye treatment results with diagnosed cmE on the background of ocrV/ocrVt with ozurdex with the onset of the disease showed that the maximum apparent therapeutic effect is observed in patients who started treatment within 1-5 months from the onset of the disease. Keywords: cystoid macular edema, central retinal vein occlusion, Ozurdex
