Abstract
The fight against extremist manifestations requires proper legal regulation and uniform law enforcement practice, careful study and proper methodological support. The paper reveals the peculiarities of law enforcement practice in cases of administrative offenses on propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols. Based on the provisions enshrined in the strategic national interests, it is concluded that improving the legal regulation of the prevention of extremism is a key area of ensuring state and public security, in connection with which, the work formulated relevant proposals to minimize illegal actions of an extremist orientation, including among young people
