Abstract

It is shown that a logarithmic feature in the low-frequency asymptotics of the spectral energy distribution of the equilibrium radiation in an electron plasma occurs with arbitrary degeneration of electrons within the framework of the ideal gas approximation for the transverse dielectric permittivity.
