Abstract

The article summarizes the experience accumulated by the author in the field of organizing independent work of master’s degree students of the Faculty of Philology at Ogarev Mordovia State University on the discipline “Theory and Methodology of Teaching the History of Russian Literature at Higher School”. The paper offers questions and tasks for independent work on all the key topics of this course. It is concluded that properly organized independent work contributes to the successful acquisition of the course “Theory and Methodology of Teaching the History of Russian Literature at Higher School”, on the basis of which the further professional activity of master’s degree students in philology is built.
