Abstract

The article is devoted to mentoring — the direction of work implemented within the framework of the project “Ecosystem of Childhood: approbation of a systemic model for the prevention of social risks in organizations for orphans and children left without parental care”, under a grant from the Department of Labor and Social Protection of Moscow in 2020–2022. Mentor is a professional tutor who works with children and adolescents living in the Centers for the Promotion of Family Education (hereinafter referred to as the CPFE) in Moscow, showing signs of maladjustment, deviant behavior (addictive, illegal, etc.), learning difficulties, unauthorized departures and etc. The basic principles and main stages of the mentor’s work are considered, as well as the experience of the first year of implementation of this author’s concept, which includes elements and technologies of psychological counseling and psychotherapy, case management, skills and recovery approaches.
