Abstract

This article sheds more light on the teaching of Arabic Language and basis Islamic Studies in zamfara north primary Schools, (Both Islamiyyah & Boko) citing and explaining the challenges and problems faced by these two Important subject in our dear senatorial zone (Zamfara North) which accumulate K/Namoda B/Magaji Shinkafi Zurmi, as a model in formulating these challenges and trying to seek successful solution for them. As well as the article pays attention to the state of Islamic and Arabic Education before and after the Western Colonialism in Nigeria, and then presents those challenges that hinder the progress of Arabic Language and basics Islamic Studies in our area, and how it was infiltrated in the curriculum and methods of teaching Arabic and Islamic studies in this stage, furthermore the articles find out that the problems and challenges which the two subject are facing were occurs by negligence of some teachers parent as well as students themselves, at the end; conclusion, recommendations and end note were mentioned.
