Abstract

The purpose of the study is to reveal the cognitive abilities of students based on the acquisition of new knowledge and practical experience to solve important social and economic problems. The article describes practice-oriented learning as a method that increases the motivation of students to acquire practical skills or professional competence. With this approach, the traditional model of training is supplemented by a new didactic unit: "practical experience", which allows you to form the competence of a specialist. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time the method of revealing practice-oriented learning as the basis for acquiring new knowledge, practical experience and using them to solve important socio-economic problems has been tested. As a result of the conducted research, in the Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute and MBOU Lyceum No. 35. Stavropol, new approaches in the organization were identified.
