Abstract

Modern methods of 3D modeling of a number of physical and operational parameters of crushed-mastic asphalt concrete (SHMA) are proposed, which allow us to quickly and reliably obtain a set of petrographic data reflecting the structural, mineralogical and chemical features of the SHMA obtained using X-ray computed tomography (RCT). The paper presents for the first time the results of RCT studies reflecting the structure and some operationalcharacteristics of the SHMA. In the course of the research, an assessment of the operational parameters of the SHMA with the participation of petroleum coke as a structuring agent was given and a comparative assessment of the SHMA with the stabilizing additive VIATOP-66 was given. It was found that the use of petroleum coke provides a significant reduction in the binder runoff rate, as well as a reduction in track formation.
