Abstract

The aim of this study is to present relevant scientific studies and students’ beliefs related to error correction and grammar instruction. For the purpose of the study students of the Department of Modern Greek Studies, Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade responded to a questionnaire about the controversial role of grammar teaching and error correction. As a result of the analysis, it can be said that they believe that error correction can be beneficial for the process of grammar learning and that grammar has a significant role in language pedagogy.
