Abstract

For the VT35 alloy, the range of alloying element content, which is the most significant for providing increased dynamic strength, has been statistically determined. It was found out that in order to achieve the balanced set of properties that guarantees increased dynamic strength of the VT35 alloy, alloying must be carried out at the lower limit of the allowable range. The temperature-time regime of hardening heat treatment was established, providing a tensile strength of about 1300 MPa with a relative narrowing of 16% and an impact strength of 0.3 MJ / m2.
