Abstract

Due to the presence of a large number of satellite-based sensors in the Earth's orbit that provide information on the state of the marine environment with a high spatial resolution and with a small time interval, it became possible to obtain not only spatial characteristics but also certain dynamic characteristics such as the speed and direction of propagation of some hydrodynamic processes, in particular meso- and sub-mesoscale vortices and dipoles, internal waves and freshened water fronts The paper presents the results of the integrated use of satellite data obtained at short intervals to restore the parameters of the spread of oil pollution, accumulation of algae, vortex structures and internal waves
