Abstract

In continuation of our previous research, we are currently building a security remote monitoring module for the purpose of controlling unauthorized access to overhead power lines and poles and specifically to the safety zone. The said module is being developed with current presence detection technology recognizing presence of objects and people in visible and infrared ranges. Optical and infrared data goes to a security monitoring module microchip and, at the same time, to a utility company control room server.
