Abstract
In order to study the results of treating permanent teeth initial caries in children with caries process compensated through the use of remineralizing gel 1682 schoolchildren of Omsk aged 7‑12 were examined. 30 children with compensated caries process having initial enamel caries were subject to medical supervision. The group was divided into two subgroups: the first group included children subject to oral cavity sanation and oral hygiene instruction with no use of medical and preventive treatment; the second subgroup comprised children, receiving treatment in the form of calcium-phosphate-gel model «Saliva» (copyright certificate № 1119693, 22.06.1984). The evaluation of the treatment results was carried out through a comprehensive analysis of the clinical and laboratory parameters of the oral cavity homeostasis. Oral hygiene instruction as well as oral cavity sanation were found to facilitate physiological remineralization of the demineralized enamel. Administering remineralization therapy in the initial dental caries treatment makes teeth enamel remineralization more efficient and reduces the risks of the enamel demineralization aggravation in every individual.
