Abstract

The paper gives characteristic of the landscapes of the upper part of right slope of Tuzlov river of north exposure and ravine part of watershed plateau between the Aksai and Tuzlov rivers, which are located south of the Grushevskaya station, east of the M 4 highway and north of the Novocherkassk ‒ Rostov highway. We have studied taxonomic levels, qualitatively differing from each other by landscape-forming factors, taking into account the degree of influence of these individual factors and their different correlations with each other on the growth of the grapevine plant, the yield of vineyards, the quality of the vineyard and vinicultural products. Landscape-forming factors at the microrelief level are geology, relief, soil and groundwater. Obtaining the necessary landscape-forming data was carried out by drilling the wells of the ground to a depth of up to 10 m with a morphological description of soil, geological and hydrogeological profile, with taking soil and groundwater samples for chemical analysis, paying special attention to landscape-forming factors that may be limiting for laying vineyards and to those that create optimal agroecological conditions for vineyards.
