Abstract
The study aims to provide an insight and compare understanding of Russia’s specific character as an integrated Eurasian civilisation displayed by classical Eurasianism and A. S. Panarin’s and B. S. Yerasov’s neo-Eurasianism. The focus of attention is classical Eurasianists’ and their successors’ ideas about Russia-Eurasia being a separate world combining cultural features of the Eastern and Western worlds and forming a single unique Eurasian civilisation. Scientific novelty of the conducted research lies in taking a comprehensive approach to the issue of Russia being considered as a single Eurasian civilisation in philosophy of classical Eurasianism and neo-Eurasianism. As a result, fundamental concepts of Russia as an integrated civilizational entity, shared by both classical Eurasianists and academic neo-Eurasianists, are identified.
