Abstract

The article examines the problem of uncontrolled and unregulated migration processes in modern Russia, leading to problems with ensuring national security (using the example of ensuring law and order and military discipline on the territory of the Moscow territorial garrison). The article emphasizes the importance of maintaining controllability of migration processes, since an uncontrolled influx of migrants can cause an increase in ethnic crime, social and religious conflicts. At the same time, the importance of strengthening civil unity, all-Russian civic identity, interethnic and interfaith harmony, and preserving the identity of the multinational people of the Russian Federation during the period of a special military operation was noted.
