Abstract
The article is a detailed review of the collective monograph “National Identity and Collective Memory: Between the Past and the Future”,published in Crimea. The authors are scientists from different cities of Russia, as well as Serbia and Kazakhstan, representatives of different branches of humanitarian science. The monograph presents theoretical research on the problems of identity and identification, the modern identity crisis, in particular in the post-Soviet space, problems of collective memory in relation to interethnic relations, the politics of memory in various states, technologies of influence on the formation of national identity and collective memory. The analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of this work is a primary focus of this review.
