Abstract
The review analyzes the content of the textbook ‘Legal and organizational foundations of the fight against drug trafficking’, which covers a complex of criminological, criminal law, criminal procedural, forensic, operational investigative and forensic issues in the fight against illegal drug trafficking. It is noted that the textbook elaborates the historical and legal foundations of combating drug trafficking in Russia, makes an attempt to describe the criminological characteristics of crime in this area, provides a criminal legal analysis of crimes in the field of drug trafficking, and conducts a study of the organizational foundations for the detection, investigation and prevention of the above crimes. A number of comments are given.
