E-mail: ALKAMIS1390@ICLOUD.COM Abstract The research includes the narration ways of Ibn Abbas's Hadith about loudly saying Basmalla, in the name of Allah, in loud prayers and speech on its ills, in addition to showing its defects and differences in its wording. The researcher has come upon seven narrations of Ibn Abbas's above-mentioned Hadith. Accordingly, he verified and investigated these seven narrations and judged them according to the rules of Hadith science. The study adopts the inductive approach together with the analytic and critical one. After investigating the seven narrations, the study finds that the Hadith under consideration is not correct as a traceable (Marfu`) Hadith, despite being narrated from several ways, whereas the correct is to regard it as a discontinued (Mauquf) Hadith on Ibn Abbas, May Allah be pleased upon him where he narrated that the prophet (PBUH) commences his prayers with Basmalla without uttering that loudly. It is proved that Ibn Abbas's views on the issue are that saying Basmalla loudly is the recitation of Desert Arabs. The study recommends researchers pay considerable attention to gathers Hadiths that are narrated in several ways and they should be included in the methodological studies at the master’s and doctoral phases, due to their great benefits for researchers. Keywords: ways, loud , Basmalla, in the name of Allah, defects, differences.
