Research background: innovation is a key factor in determining the growth of the creative industries sector. However, it also highlights the importance of the creative industries to the broader innovation process within the wider economy. Synergies between the creative industries and companies in other sectors create conditions for the diffusion of new tech-nologies. Creative industries companies typically utilise a large, diverse network of relationships, facilitating easy access to new knowledge and faster assimilation. Purpose of the article: the purpose is to present a sys-tematic literature review of research papers on creative industries, innova-tion diffusion and network analysis, and to identify future research direc-tions. Methods: this paper presents the results of a systematic literature review of 54 articles on innovation diffusion networks within the creative industries, as indexed in the Web of Science database. Findings & Value: the study reveals that innovation diffusion within the creative industries has positive effects within the sector and across the broader economy. The review also reveals that qualitative and mixed-method approaches domi-nate the current research landscape, indicating a need for more robust quantitative modelling in future studies. Results from scientific research analysing the impact of innovation diffusion networks on the creative in-dustries sector have shown that existing networks significantly affect the social and economic environment of other industries, regions and the na-tional economy. Although the authors emphasise the importance of net-works for the diffusion of innovations in the creative industries sector, few empirical studies have focused on identifying these networks.

This study analyses thirteen key determinants of Bala, categorising them within the Trividha Bala framework and evaluating their clinical role in enhancing Yuktikrita Bala. In Ayurveda, Bala is the foundation of Vyadhik-shamatva (disease resistance) and is functionally synonymous with Ojas and Prakrita Kapha. Through a system-atic literary review of the Brihattrayis, this research classifies the Bala Vriddhikara Bhava—thirteen factors into Sahaja (innate), Kalaja (time-dependent), and Yuktikrita (acquired) categories. Results indicate that while genet-ic inheritance (Beeja) and environmental factors (Desha, Kala) are fixed mainly, strength can be significantly augmented by modifiable determinants such as Ahara-Sampat, Sattva-Sampat, and Rasayana therapies. The study concludes that the Bala Vriddhikara Bhava framework provides a comprehensive roadmap for personalised health. By optimising lifestyle choices and maintaining Samharsha (a cheerful disposition), individuals can achieve Dhatu Samya, thereby maximising their natural lifespan and systemic resilience against physiological and psychological stressors.

The increasing integration of robots and AI systems into everyday life has made effective human-robot communication a crucial area of research. Despite the rapid advancement in AI technologies, a signif-icant gap persists between human expectations and the actual communicative capabilities of robots. This study explores the factors contributing to this communication gap by combining a systematic re-view of literature with expert perspectives. Ten empirical studies published between 2015 and 2025 were analyzed, focusing on the core dimensions of trust, empathy, contextual nuance, and interaction quality. Additionally, semi-structured interviews were conducted with five academic experts in artificial intelligence, robotics, and related fields to complement the literature findings. The results indicate that current AI systems face substantial limitations in emotional understanding, contextual interpretation, cultural and linguistic variations, and trust-development. Although robots can recognize patterns such as facial expressions and speech, they may lack human-like emotional understanding which limits the quality of interaction. Many experts have confirmed that misunderstandings or misinterpretations of-ten arise from the ambiguity in natural-language communication and an overreliance on language-only interaction. Overall, the findings suggest that technological advancements alone are insufficient to bridge the communication gap.

Objectives: This study aims to explore global research trends in pharmacoeconomics over the past decade through a bibliometric analysis of publications from 2015 to 2024. Methods: A bibliomet-ric analysis of pharmacoeconomic research articles published between 2015 and 2024, sourced from the PubMed database, was conducted using a structured search strategy targeting economic evaluation terms in combination with drug-related keywords. Data were analyzed using the Bib-lioshiny interface of the bibliometrix R package to assess publication trends, journal and institutional productivity, international collaboration, and thematic evolution. Citation data were further en-riched using metadata retrieved via the CrossRef REST API utilizing the httr, jsonlite, dplyr, and purrr packages in R. Results: The most prolific journals included Journal of Medical Economics , Pharma-coeconomics, andPLOS ONE. Foundational concepts such as ''cost-effectiveness analysis'' and ''sys-tematic review'' remained dominant throughout the decade. Since 2020, disease-specific terms like ''type diabetes'', ''chronic hepatitis'', ''lung cancer'', and ''urothelial carcinoma'' gained promi-nence, reflecting increasing interest in evaluating interventions for high-burden diseases. When considering all-author affiliations, China had the highest number of publications. However, when limited to corresponding authors, typically indicating research leadership, the United States and the United Kingdom led in output and citation impact. Conclusion: This bibliometric review highlights significant trends in pharmacoeconomics research over the last decade. There is a growing empha-sis on evaluating therapies for infectious and chronic diseases, with strong contributions from US-and UK-based institutions. These findings can guide future research priorities, funding allocation, and collaborative strategies in global health economics.

Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs) are highly prevalent, affecting approximately 71.9% of the workforce. Among these, shoulder pain is one of the most frequently reported issues, often linked to Scapular Dyskinesia (SD), which contributes to shoulder dysfunction and impaired movement. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of physical therapy interventions in improving scapular alignment, reducing pain, and enhancing functional outcomes in individuals with SD. A comprehensive search was conducted using the PIOD framework across major databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane, CINAHL, PEDrO, and Web of Science, covering studies from 2013 to 2024. Seventeen randomized controlled trials were included, and data were analyzed using MedCalc with both fixed- and random-effects models. Physical therapy interventions demonstrated a significant reduction in pain (SMD = -0.620; 95% CI: -0.966 to -0.273; p < 0.001) with moderate heterogeneity (I² = 44.48%). However, improvements in functional disability (SPADI) and scapular deviation (LSST) were statistically insignificant. Overall, physical therapy is effective in alleviating SD-related pain and should be considered a first-line treatment, although individualized and multimodal approaches may be necessary to achieve optimal functional recovery.

As the impact of angiotensin receptor/neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI) on cardiac function in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients is unclear in clinical therapy, we conducted this research to investigate the actual effects of improving cardiac function with ARNI in AMI patients. Publications were checked up to June 2022. Standardised mean differences (SMD) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) were utilised for assessing the size of the effect of continuous variables. To assess the magnitude of the effect of dichotomous variables, a relative risk (RR) with 95% CI was used. ARNI could improve left ventricular ejection fraction (SMD = 0.40; 95% CI: 0.23 - 0.58), while lowering left ventricular end-diastolic volume (SMD = -0.43, 95% CI: -0.78 to -0.08), left ventricular end-systolic volume (SMD = -0.39, 95% CI: -0.66 to -0.11) and left ventricular enddiastolic diameter (SMD = -0.49; 95% CI: -0.65 to -0.33). Besides, it could decrease the rates of major adverse cardiac events (RR = 0.55; 95% CI: 0.43 - 0.69) and heart failure (RR = 0.42; 95% CI: 0.31 - 0.58). ARNI could greatly improve cardiac function in AMI patients.

Simulation-Based Learning (SBL) has become an essential component of modern nursing education, offering learners realistic and risk-free environments to practice essential clinical and decision-making skills. With the increasing complexity of healthcare systems and the growing emphasis on patient safety, nursing educators are seeking innovative methods that effectively prepare students for real-world clinical challenges. Traditional Clinical Experience (TCE), while historically the cornerstone of nursing training, presents several challenges including inconsistent patient exposure, ethical concerns, and variability in supervision. As a result, educators have turned to SBL as a structured, evidence-based approach that enhances clinical competence, self-efficacy, and professional readiness. The objective of this systematic review was to critically evaluate and synthesize existing research comparing simulation-based learning and traditional clinical experiences in improving nursing staff competencies. The review followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and the seven stages of knowledge synthesis in nursing science: formulating the research question, developing a data protocol, implementing a rigorous search strategy, appraising study quality, extracting data, synthesizing evidence, and interpreting findings. Electronic databases PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL, MEDLINE, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library were searched for studies published between 2010 and 2024. Fifteen studies met the inclusion criteria, encompassing a total of 1,676 participants. Results demonstrated that SBL produced superior or equivalent outcomes compared with TCE across the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Specifically, simulation significantly improved students’ self-efficacy, confidence, clinical judgment, and procedural accuracy. Quantitative synthesis revealed large effect sizes favoring SBL for self-efficacy (SMD = 1.93), clinical performance (SMD = 1.62), and confidence (SMD = 1.83). Additionally, qualitative findings highlighted that simulation enhanced learner engagement, reflective thinking, and perceived readiness for clinical practice. However, challenges related to cost, faculty training, and standardization of simulation protocols remain persistent barriers to widespread implementation. This review concludes that simulation-based learning represents a pedagogically sound, effective, and safe educational strategy that bridges the longstanding gap between theory and practice in nursing education. Its structured and controlled learning environment fosters measurable improvements in knowledge, skill performance, and confidence among nursing students. Nevertheless, ongoing research is needed to establish standardized evaluation tools, assess long-term outcomes, and ensure cost-effective scalability. The findings support the integration of simulation-based learning as a core component of nursing curricula, complementing traditional clinical experiences to produce competent, confident, and patient-centered nursing professionals.

Over the past few years, neuroimaging studies have been performed in young adults with perinatally acquired HIV (PHIV) to study the impact of HIV infection on the central nervous system (CNS), but no recent review have been published. This review aims to identify brain areas where PHIV eems to have greater impact taking into account demographic, behavioral, and clinical characteristics in PHIV infected patients. For this purpose, PubMed and Medline searches were carried out which included studies from 2010 to April 2020. We performed a systematic review and included 26 articles using structural (brain morphometry and diffusion tensor imaging) and functional magnetic resonance imaging methods involving 1182 PHIV-infected participants. Ample evidence has been provided of HIV effects on underlying brain structure. However, information recorded in the studies is commonly incomplete and results sometimes contradictory. In addition to future improvements and dissemination of tools for the developing brain MRI processing and analysis, the inclusion of data related to HIV infection itself (including clinical and immunovirological characteristics as well as detailed information about antiretroviral treatment such as age at ART initiation) may be of vital importance to the better understanding of the impact of the disease on CNS.

Objectives: To evaluate the evidence on the efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness of res-metirom for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Methods: A syste-matic review with meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials was conducted, comparing resmetirom to placebo or active comparators for the treatment of MASH (PROSPERO: CRD42024557306). Searches were performed in 06/2024 in the Medline, Embase, Lilacs, Cochrane, and Centre for Reviews and Dissemination databases. Two researchers independently selected studies, extracted data, and assessed their methodological quality. Meta-analyses were conducted in R. The risk of bias in randomized clinical trials was assessed using the Cochrane Collaboration’s RoB-2 tool, and the level of evidence was evaluated using the GRADE approach. Results: The final sample was composed by eight publications. Resmetirom was shown to be effective in resolving MASH, with a 149% improvement compared to the control group. It also significantly improved liver fibrosis and reduced liver fat, with notable effects in long-term studies. However, an increased incidence of diarrhea and nausea was observed among treated patients. Laboratory parameters, such as LDL and triglycerides, also improved with resmetirom. The technolo-gy was considered cost-effective at a threshold of $100,000/QALY (ICER ranging from $36,600/QALY to $74,018/QALY) in studies worldwide. Conclusion: Resmetirom demonstrated significant and sustained reductions in liver fat and improvements in fibrosis, proving to be effective, safe, and potentially cost-effective for the treatment of MASH.

This study estimated the prevalence of H. pylori infection in India among adults and children with and without gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. This meta-analysis was conducted in accordance with the 2020 PRISMA guidelines and registered with PROSPERO (CRD42024597401). Scientific databases (e.g., MEDLINE, CINAHL, and Google Scholar) were searched to identify English-language articles from India presenting data on H. pylori prevalence. The quality of the included studies was assessed, followed by the pooling of prevalence data using a random effects model with a 95% confidence interval. The 52 studies included in the analyses were conducted in 15 different states in India, with the majority originating from the state of Uttar Pradesh (23/52). The pooled prevalence of H. pylori among people with GI diseases was 54% (95% CI: 48% - 60%, n=12159), compared to 61% (95% CI: 52% - 69%, n=1,861) among people with no clinically diagnosed GI conditions. The pooled prevalence estimates among children with and without GI diseases were 34% (95% CI: 5% - 68%, n=458) and 49% (95% CI: 37% - 60%, n=718), respectively. Among different regions, the highest prevalence was observed in the state of Rajasthan (70%), while the lowest prevalence was in Gujarat (9%). Since H. pylori infection can lead to many other clinical complications, government initiatives and policies are needed to prevent the spread of the H. Pylori pathogen in India.

Self-report scales are widely used in psychology to compare means in latent constructs across groups, experimental conditions, or time points. However, for these comparisons to be meaningful and unbiased, the scales must demonstrate measurement invariance (MI) across compared time points or (experimental) groups. MI testing determines whether the latent constructs are measured equivalently across groups or time, which is essential for meaningful comparisons. We conducted a systematic review of 426 psychology articles with openly available data, to (a) examine common practices in conducting and reporting of MI testing, (b) assess whether we could reproduce the reported MI results, and (c) conduct MI tests for the comparisons that enabled sufficiently powerful MI testing. We identified 96 articles that contained a total of 929 comparisons. Results showed that only 4% of the 929 comparisons underwent MI testing, and the tests were generally poorly reported. None of the reported MI tests were reproducible, and only 26% of the 174 newly performed MI tests reached sufficient (scalar) invariance, with MI failing completely in 58% of tests. Exploratory analyses suggested that in nearly half of the comparisons where configural invariance was rejected, the number of factors differed between groups. These results indicate that MI tests are rarely conducted and poorly reported in psychological studies. We observed frequent violations of MI, suggesting that reported differences between (experimental) groups may not be solely attributed to group differences in the latent constructs. We offer recommendations aimed at improving reporting and computational reproducibility practices in psychology. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved).

Abstract Higher levels of Mental Health Literacy (MHL) have been linked to positive health out-comes, including more supportive attitudes towards mental health problems and help-seeking behaviours. There is a call for a broader approach that includes mental wellbeing, which is key for mental health promotion. Despite this, there is no universal definition or comprehensive measures for MHL. This umbrella review aims to synthesise existing sys-tematic reviews to clarify how MHL has been conceptualised and operationalised over the past 25 years. Following the PROSPERO protocol CRD42024585946, systematic searches were con-ducted in databases including CINAHL, MEDLINE, Life Sciences Databases, OVID, PsycINFO, and PubMed, covering literature from 2000 to 2024. Reviews addressing MHL in various contexts and age groups were included. Data extraction and quality assess-ment were performed independently by two authors, with discrepancies resolved through discussion. The review identified key definitions and measures of MHL, with Jorm's framework being the most widely cited, defining MHL as knowledge and beliefs about mental disorders that aid their recognition, management, or prevention. Other definitions include components such as stigma reduction and help-seeking efficacy. Various measurement tools were also identified. The findings highlight the need for a comprehensive and universally accepted definition of MHL, emphasising the importance of including positive aspects of mental health and broader determinants in MHL measures. The umbrella review's strengths include its broad scope and systematic approach, while limitations involve potential biases in the included reviews. This umbrella review provides a synthesis of how MHL has been conceptualized and op-erationalised. By addressing gaps and inconsistencies in the literature, it can enhance the conceptual clarity and practical application of MHL. Other authors: Ösp Árnadóttir, Sólrún Ósk Lárusdóttir, Pia Solin

Abstract The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate the effects of consuming sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO 3 ) and to gain insight into the nature of any changes in performance following NaHCO 3 supplementation among combat sport athletes. The analysis of the results provides compelling evidence in favor of acute or chronic NaHCO 3 supplementation as an ergogenic substance which could have an impact on several aspects of performance in judo [23, 31, 32], taekwondo [17, 20], karate [17, 33] [28, 29], wrestling [18, 19], jiu-jitsu [32] and boxing [16]. Acute or chronic NaHCO 3 supplementation is effective in the improvement of several variables of physical performance in combat sports during testing and simulated matches. Enhanced performance resulted in the increased capacity of the glycolytic system. However, the positive effects of its use are most often visible following the onset of fatigue. In addition, the use of NaHCO 3 is associated with an increased concentration of lactate in the blood. This systematic review provides data relevant for sports professionals and athletes alike regarding the use of NaHCO 3 as a supplement, prior or during training and matches.

There are different perspectives on the psychological constructs of resilience and hypnotizability, and both are related to aspects of mental health. Resilience has been associated with protective variables, whereas hypnotizability has been related to psychopathological variables. This systematic review aims to identify the studies that associate hypnotizability with resilience and self-control. This review included studies with adults in which hypnotizability and resilience/self-control were associated with each other. Articles were identified by searching in PubMed, PubPsych, EMBASE, Scopus, ProQuest, and Web of Science databases. The search yielded 315 studies published until October 2022. None of them met the inclusion criteria. In these studies, hypnosis is used to generate changes in resilience. Findings show that hypnosis has beneficial effects on coping and symptoms associated with sickness and improves patients’ quality of life. However, studies exploring the possible association between resilience and hypnotizability have yet to be found. There continues to be a research bias by which hypnotizability is associated with psychopathological aspects. Given the positive effects of hypnosis and resilience on mental health, it is relevant to design studies investigating the relationship between hypnotizability and resilience.

Psychodrama and drama therapy are organized health professions where credentialed professionals intentionally employ experiential drama processes and techniques to ameliorate health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship. These drama-based therapies are used for mental health treatment across a range of clients and in various healthcare settings. The aims of this systematic review and meta-analysis were to (a) aggregate and synthesize the evidence on drama-based therapies, (b) assess the strength of the effects of drama-based therapies on mental health outcomes, and (c) examine which outcome, study, sample, or intervention characteristics moderated the strength of the effect on the outcomes. Inclusion criteria were randomized control trials and clinical control trials, mental health outcomes, and therapy interventions. The protocol for this study was registered at PROSPERO and seven databases were searched: Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Embase, Wiley Online Library, PubMed, PsycINFO, and Scopus. Risk of bias in the included studies was assessed and a multilevel meta-analysis was performed, containing 30 controlled studies, 144 effect sizes, and 1,567 participants. The results showed an overall medium effect of drama-based therapies on both psychological and behavioral mental health outcomes (d = .501, [.36, .64]). There was no statistically significant difference between psychodrama and drama therapy, and other selected characteristics did not have a statistically significant impact on treatment effectiveness. Although this meta-analysis was not restricted to randomized controlled trails, these findings suggest that group psychodrama and drama therapy are effective in contributing to clients' mental health, with similar overall effects as shown in other psychotherapies. Implications for future research are discussed.

Social entrepreneurship addresses social, environmental, and cultural challenges, aiming to create meaningful impact while ensuring financial sustainability. Unlike traditional entrepreneurship, it uses advanced technologies, unconventional models, and collaborative approaches for positive change. Despite Latin America's entrepreneurial spirit, their practices and successes lack international visibility due to language barriers and limited global database indexing. The main research question for this study was: What scientific research has been published on communication in Latin American social entrepreneurship in Spanish and Portuguese languages? The general objective was to systematically review scientific research publications on communication in Latin American social entrepreneurship conducted in Spanish and Portuguese languages. To address this question and meet the objective, a systematic review was conducted on literature available in the Scopus, Web of Science and Scielo databases, yielding 10 relevant experiences from 37 records after passing through 7 filters. Findings emphasize the importance of communication, social media, community strategies, online presence, storytelling, and partnerships for visibility and engagement. Brands use social entrepreneurship to enhance impact and reputation, addressing issues like unemployment and urban revitalization. These insights help engage stakeholders, mobilize resources, and foster community involvement. Policymakers can support social enterprises with better access to communication tools, training, networks, and visibility. Received: 28 November 2024 / Accepted: 26 May 2025 / Published: 05 July 2025
