Comedies and Proverbs (Comédies et Proverbes) is the title under which Éric Rohmer brings together a series of films in which the French director explores love and relationships. In this text, my interest lies in elucidating and characterizing what Rohmer has achieved with the five films collected under that title and connecting that same work with other different cinematographic proposals dedicated to exploring the couple and its attractive mysteries. In the stories of the French writer and filmmaker, we can perceive the repercussions of the social changes that took place in the second half of the twentieth century and the way in which they affected human relationships, the ideas of couples and roles in today's world. Therefore, not only his influence is of unquestionable importance, but also his anticipation of many of the ways of relating to each other that are seen, keeping proportions and particular elements, in the twenty-first century.

En este artículo se reflexiona sobre cómo la creciente presencia de contenidos generados por Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en los espacios digitales está transformando la comunicación y la formación de imaginarios sociales. Se exploran las preocupaciones actuales, como la "Dead Internet Theory", que sugiere que gran parte del contenido en línea es generado por bots y algoritmos, y cómo esto influye en la percepción de autenticidad y en la naturaleza "social" de las redes sociales. A través de una revisión de conceptos clave y un análisis crítico, se busca comprender las implicaciones de esta tendencia en la construcción de la realidad social y en el futuro de la comunicación digital.

Persuasive communication is at the center of the object of study of advertising graphic communication. However, it is not so easy to recognize what is persuasive, how it is persuaded and what are the ways in which it circulates in society. This podcast is a research + creation product that arises from a series of projects that investigate new trends in advertising, graphic and persuasive communication. The podcast series includes in-depth sessions with industry experts, researchers and employers, in dialogue with the specialized literature and leading advertising campaigns. This format integrates a critical and current look at communication and the persuasive in society. The present work shows the paths from which the conceptualization of the product was advanced.

This analysis focuses on Augusto Remo Erdosain, who is the main character of Crazy Seven and The flamethrowers. The introduction offers an approach to the literary artifice of Roberto Arlt from the zone of anguish. Here, 3 main axes are mentioned to understand the significance of the novel: (a) Urban daily life, where a hybrid language, a bureaucratic shield, a capitalist morality and a peculiar aesthetic are integrated; (b) the petty-bourgeoisie, is identified through cowardice, pathos and hypocrisy; (c) Marginality, all the reflectors point to this narrative niche because that is where the vanguard of the novel lies. The paradox of continuous humiliation refers to the adverse conditions from which the characters intend to emerge victorious, but end up facing circumstances of greater collapse. The second part of the article characterizes crime as a trivialized procedure, since Erdosain concludes: to kill someone, rob a bank or detonate a bomb, it is enough to become a courageous beast. The third phase constitutes the most provocative proposal of Roberto Arlt: madness as a piece of artistic exhibition. Consequently, Roberto Arlt not only transcribed the sensations, emotions and singularities of a gloomy city, his work ended up setting the themes of urban narrative.

Although it began as an internal conflict, the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) soon acquired an unprecedented international dimension. In the cultural field, the development and outcome of the war aroused a growing and constant interest among world public opinion. Colombia was no stranger to this phenomenon and the news coming from Spain occupied the front pages of the main newspapers in the country. This research analyzes some publications on the conflict in Spain that appeared in media such as El Tiempo, El Espectador, El Siglo, La Patria and La Voz de Caldas during the months of July and August 1936. The objective of this research is to investigate the impact of the Spanish Civil War on Colombian public opinion and on the political reality of the country.

This article presents some theoretical reflections on the conceptual corpus of La ventana indiscreta, asomándose a la experiencia del arte, a research-creation project that gave rise to the CREACOM Laboratory for Creation in Knowledge Management and Social Innovation and the university TV and radio series La Ventana Indiscreta. Asomándonos a la Experiencia del Arte; a space that articulated the relationship between teaching, research and production in the arts of the Faculty of Integrated Arts of the Universidad del Valle and the project of Cultural Policies of the University, allowing the participation of art audiences and their daily experience with the mediation of technologies and communication strategies. Achieving a transversal bet from research to production and broadcasting in university media. At the end of this article we offer a synthetic analysis of the systematization presented by one of the members of the base team, leaving the promise of a second article that gathers a new proposal of systematization of the process.

La comunicación científica y el periodismo científico, como elementos transversales de la apropiación social del conocimiento, son esenciales a la hora de transcodificar la ciencia a públicos no especializados. Desde 2018 la Universidad de Manizales produce la revista Eureka, ciencia para la gente y, en 2022 lanzó su Unidad de Apropiación Social del Conocimiento para potenciar los procesos investigativos y hacer más pertinente el conocimiento desarrollado. Esta explica el proceso, resultados y metodologías para profundizar la participación de los públicos en la construcción de ciencia y de productos comunicativos sobre procesos científicos. Se propone una metodología basada en el concepto de transcodificación de los saberes técnicos que para Cecilia Mazzaro (2008, p. 10) busca pasar de lenguajes crípticos a lenguajes comprensibles y que para Quiñónez (2015) permite fragmentar el lenguaje científico y hace parte de ese mismo proceso de hacer ciencia. Se presentan los retos de este tipo de ejercicios de la academia y la necesidad imperante de fortalecerlos y darle un lugar preponderante a la co-construcción entre académicos (científicos) y las comunidades objeto de sus estudios como agentes activos y no pasivos o receptores.

Este artículo pretende realizar una mirada sistemática del proceso comunicativo vivenciado en La ventana indiscreta, asomándose a la experiencia del arte. Este fue un proyecto de investigación -creación que buscó constituir un espacio creativo (el Laboratorio de Creación en Gestión del Conocimiento e Innovación Social CREACOM) tanto como un piloto para una serie experimental de obras de Tv y radio; este espacio permitió la articulación entre la Facultad de Artes Integradas, su docencia, investigación y producción en artes de la Universidad y la experiencia cotidiana de los públicos de la región, con la mediación de las tecnologías y estrategias de comunicación. Anclado al proyecto de Políticas culturales de la Universidad del Valle logró ser una apuesta transversal a sus ejes de acción desde la investigación hasta la producción y emisión de una serie de Tv y Radio en medios universitarios.

En el presente texto se plantea una relación entre quietud, movimiento y las prácticas historicistas que configuran los relatos sobre el conflicto armado colombiano, particularmente en el contexto de la toma guerrillera de Arboleda, corregimiento de Pensilvania, Caldas el 29 de julio del año 2000. Partiendo del cuento “Funes, el memorioso” de Jorge Luis Borges, “La pulga de acero” de Nikolai Leskov y una fotografía realizada luego de la toma guerrillera, se argumenta que la quietud —en los procesos de memoria— es una construcción impuesta por los discursos historicistas, oscureciendo la naturaleza dinámica y compleja de las experiencias vividas y de los territorios.
