Internalization of the values of the hadith prohibiting ikhtikar (hoarding goods for one-sided gain) in the younger generation and the factors that influence it in the context of modern economic life. The hadith prohibiting ikhtikar contains a moral message about justice, social responsibility, and protection of the interests of society. However, technological developments, consumption patterns, and practical economic orientation among the younger generation have the potential to weaken the understanding and application of these values. This article aims to examine the importance of the younger generation in managing goods so that the balance between supply and demand to avoid excess or shortage of stock in particular, which ultimately minimizes costs and increases efficiency. Through qualitative methods and a literature review. Thus, the younger generation's knowledge of the hadith prohibiting ikhtikar is still relatively low, while the internalization of its values is influenced by the level of religious education, family environment, religious community, and Islamic economic literacy. Furthermore, economic pressures and modern consumer culture are inhibiting factors in the internalization of the moral values of commerce taught by Islam. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening education in Islamic economic values and ethics for the younger generation, particularly through educational institutions, communities, and digital media, so that the principles of economic justice can be more effectively implemented in social life.

This study aims to examine the efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering students’ sense of respect toward teachers at SMPS Dewantara, Langkat. In the context of character education, respect is not merely understood as a form of politeness but as a fundamental moral value rooted in Islamic teachings. This research is motivated by the observed decline in students’ respectful attitudes, as reflected in daily behaviors such as a lack of courtesy and low levels of obedience toward teachers. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consist of PAI teachers and students. The collected data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that PAI teachers play a highly strategic role in instilling respectful attitudes in students, particularly through exemplary behavior, the habituation of positive conduct, the integration of religious values into the learning process, and emotional approaches that build close relationships with students. Students’ respect is demonstrated through behaviors such as greeting teachers, listening attentively, using polite language, and complying with school regulations. This study concludes that fostering respect requires the active involvement of teachers as well as support from a conducive school environment.

This This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation on the learning outcomes of adult learners at Bimbel Al Khoiriyah. The background of this research stems from the low learning enthusiasm often found among adult learners, which is influenced by factors such as fatigue after work, lack of internal drive, and limited motivational support in the learning environment. In adult education, motivation plays a crucial role in determining learning success, as adults possess different learning needs and characteristics compared to younger students. This research employed a quantitative approach with a simple experimental method. The treatment involved motivational sessions delivered through brief lectures and inspirational messages before the learning activities began. The study involved six adult participants enrolled in the tutoring program. Data were collected using pre-test and post-test assessments to measure learning achievement. The results showed an increase in the average score from 70 to 85 after the motivational treatment, indicating a positive influence of motivation on learning outcomes. The findings highlight the importance of motivation in improving both the process and outcomes of learning, especially among adult learners who face unique challenges in balancing education and daily responsibilities. With appropriate motivational strategies, adult learners can become more focused, confident, and capable of achieving better academic performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of using interactive multimedia learning media on students’ understanding of fiqh material among eighth-grade students at MTsN 1 Medan. The background of this research is based on the low level of students’ learning interest and understanding of fiqh subjects, which is caused by the use of conventional teaching methods that are less engaging and monotonous. Therefore, innovation in learning media is needed to increase student involvement and understanding. The research method employed is a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design. The study involved two groups: an experimental group that was taught using interactive multimedia and a control group that was taught using conventional learning methods. Research instruments included achievement tests, questionnaires, and observation sheets to measure students’ understanding and responses to the learning process. The results of the instrument validity test showed that 17 out of 20 test items were valid, with a high level of reliability indicated by a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.930. Prerequisite tests, including normality, linearity, and heteroscedasticity tests, demonstrated that the data met the requirements for linear regression analysis. The regression analysis produced the equation Y = 17.002 + 0.604X, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and a calculated t-value greater than the t-table value, indicating that interactive multimedia learning media have a positive and significant effect on students’ understanding of fiqh material.
