Sanduru and Sanduru Environment are located in the Ballari district, often known as the KarthikeyaTapovana. During the Krutayuga, Tretayuga, Dwaparayuga, and Kaliyuga, it went by the names Devagiri, Swarnagiri,Divayachala, and Lohachala. Swami Karthikeya is said to have prayed to Lord Brahmadi's gods for Tarakadi Asura'sdeath.1 Since then, it has served as a natural destination, a place of worship, and an industrial site. Due to the splendourof nature and its natural resources, several enterprises have existed since ancient times. The Ballari ParisaradaSamskrutika Parampare Volume I and the Gazetteer of the Bellary District were used to review all of those industries.
