Production and decay of P wave charmonium states in p̄p collisions

We study the angular distribution of the cascade process pp → χ J → Ψγ → e + e − γ and find that such data may offer tests of the QCD helicity selection rules and also determine the multipole structure of the χ J → Ψγ radiative decays.
