The influence of corticotherapy on serum leucyl- and cystinylnaphthylamidhydrolase activities in the course of viral hepatitis in children was studied. Glucocor-ticosteroids exert an effect on serum leucylnaphthylamidhydrolase activity. No influence of corticotherapy on serum cystinylnaphthylamidhydrolase activity was observed. The results suggest that leucyl — and cystinylnaphthylamidhydrolase activities in children are associated with a single enzymatic system.
