Por los caminos de la escuela: valorización de las actividades de prácticas supervisadas en la formación docente en Biología

This experience report is a project of valorization of the supervised internship activities, inspired by the daily school. The aim was to improve the training of future teachers of biology through consolidation of supervised teacher training. Based, theoretical and methodological, on the ecosophy of Guattari’s work, this paper was developed through ongoing monitoring guidance to monitor the exchange and analysis of information about the school reality, towards improvement of pedagogical practices of the graduating, aiming the improvement of curriculum components involved. We concluded that the value of the offer and the professionalization of the curriculum components involved enabled the trainees to monitoring, better teacher training and knowledge of everyday school-training field.

“Yonne River Corridor” Network of Yonne Cities: the River as Tourist Route

Long living space for many animal and plant species, the river system and its tributaries represent a principal wealth, always valid for human settlements in the Yonne valley, France. In my case study the major questions raised as starting points are: 1. How the infrastructure is related to the landscape of Yonne. 2. Which could be the possibilities and potentialities to treat this local resource. 3. How local authorities could start a project of exploitation and valorization of the water region. 4. Which interventions could enforce the dynamics of the region. 5. How to articulate cities in discontinuity around the Yonne river, taking into account the flood threat, but in a sustainable way. 6. And last but not least, how can we face the problem of rupture between the banks of the river and the urban space, regaining the docks.

Shared Visions and local sustainability: Territory perspectives under Strategic Design lenses

This study is part of a model of analysis conceived under Strategic Design lenses on mental images with focus on collaborative natured territories in which internal and external actors observed – Aveiro (Portugal) - grouped according to their experiences in the place express their visions by means of a participative process. It aims at producing indicators – shared visions– for further application in territorial valorization projects’ bound to enhance local sustainability. The study main focus is design as a product and metadesign research is treated as an approach for transdisciplinary work.Key words: shared visions, local sustainability, environmental perception, Strategic Design.

Evaluation of physical and mechanical properties of Tunisian camel hair

The evaluation of the textile potential of the camel (Camelus dromedarius) underhair is a field of investigation that has been approached only a few times, as indicated by the low number of articles in literature. This is most probably due to the scarcity of this fibre and the problems with the dehairing process of unsorted fibres of dromedary. Aiming at a better economic exploitation of the quantity of fibrous matter in the fleece of Tunisian dromedary, a project of valorization of these fibres was launched. The objective of this study was to analyze the physical and mechanical properties of dromedary hair. Results indicate that it has exceptional textile potential. Also, the factors age and area have a significant effect on all parameters of control (fibre diameter, fibre length, tenacity, and strain), and the interaction between these two factors is not negligible. So simplified models, based on the analysis of variance, define the selection procedure of these fibres according to various factors of control taken into account and preserved in those models.
