Abstract For many living in remote areas, accessing quality health care remains a significant hurdle. Long distances, limited specialists, and transportation challenges create a gap in care that telehealth has the potential to bridge. This article explores how telehealth, the use of telecommunication technologies for health-care delivery, can revolutionize rural health care. This article delves into the challenges and opportunities presented by telehealth in rural areas. It discusses how initiatives promoting digital health literacy can empower communities and ensure equitable access to quality health care.
