The Effect of Intellectual Capital, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover and Current Ratio on Profitability in LQ45 Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence of Intellectual Capital, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, Current Ratio on Return on Asset listed on LQ45 the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, the research samples obtained totaled 20 companies with quarterly research period from 2020-2022 so that there were 60 units of analysis. The research design was quantitative descriptive. The analysis technique in this research is multiple regression analysis method. The results showed that IC and TATO has a significant positive effect on Profitability, DER and CR have no effect on profitability. The implication of this research is that companies must pay attention to IC and TATO that can affect profitability so that company profitability can increase.

Analysis of Differences Between CR, DER, NPM, TATO on the Financial Performance of Telecommunication Companies Listed on the IDX During Covid-19

This research aims to analyze differences in CR, DER, NPM, TATO on the financial performance of telecommunications companies in Indonesia during Covid 19. The population used in the research is telecommunications sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling method uses purposive sampling technique. The data collection method is using secondary data originating from financial reports that have been published by the company via the official website www.idx.co.id. This research proves that Covid-19 does not cause the financial performance of telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) to increase or decrease significantly, whether seen from the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Net Profit Margin (NPM). ), Total Asset Turnover Ratio (TATO). However PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. is the best company since Covid-19 because of the number of people consuming internet packages at PT. Telecommunications continues to improve. This result can be seen from the Net Profit Margin (NPM) ratio, where the net profit of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. continue to increase.

The analysis of the impact of different supply chain factors using statistical perspective

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is an essential part of modern business and involves the coordination of procurement, production, and logistics. Effective SCM allows organizations to remain competitive and reduce costs. With the growth of the global marketplace, SCM is becoming increasingly important for businesses to compete. The most important aspect of SCM is to understand the components of the supply chain, which form a network of organizations involved in value-added processes and activities. The supply chain network consists of multiple components, indicating that the success of an organization's SCM depends on the combination of multiple influencing factors. This paper utilizes the supply chain data of several well-known companies, uses a dozen variables such as inventory turnover ratio, lead time, and supplier count as independent variables, and analyzes the effects of these different supply chain influencing factors on operational efficiency, supply chain resilience, and supplier relationship through multiple linear regression models. This study finds that many different supply chain factors, like transportation cost efficiency, delivery time, and others, have the greatest impact on the above-mentioned factors. This analysis may help companies to comprehensively assess their supply chain maturity and strategically enhance their supply chain attributes to achieve their business development goals.

Optimum production lot size for a perishable product under exponential demand with partial backordering and rework

The management of inventory significantly impacts an organization's profitability. Numerous researchers have developed the production model tailored for decaying items to boost sales and minimize inventory, thereby increasing turnover ratios. This study focuses on the EPQ model for reworkable items under exponential combined with inventory dynamics. The primary objective is to optimize the production plan to manage maintenance costs effectively, ensuring optimal Leveraging human and technological resources. The research determines the optimal cycle length, backordered quantities, and production quantities to minimize overall costs. Specifically, penalties are incurred for excessive production times during rework and non-rework phases. This model finds applications in industries such as printed circuit board assembly in semiconductor manufacturing, metal parts, and plastic molding. The study concludes with numerical examples comparing total costs under the proposed model, supplemented by sensitivity analyses that explore the impacts of parameter variations on decision-making.

Supply Chain Management Optimization and Cost Reduction Based on Data Mining Algorithm

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is an evolving industry that constantly evolves, but one constant is the significance of effective inventory control in optimizing profits and customer satisfaction. The primary objective of the research is to identify the most effective method for a business to supply several products while maintaining customer service and keeping inventory costs low. The main aim of this paper's Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD)-enhanced Support Vector Machine (SVM) approach is to predict ideal order and lack quantities, considering into account historical demand, level of inventory, vendor performance, and cost data. The key goal is to reduce the total cost of inventory (which includes holding, placing orders, and supply-chain costs) while maintaining excellent customer service. In order to accomplish this, the proposed system combines SGD's efficiency to enhance predictions and SVM's predictability. A consumer products business chain's real-world dataset was employed to train and test the algorithm. The dataset provides three years' worth of revenue, stock levels, vendors, and costs. Parameters like Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Inventory Turnover Ratio (ITR), and Service Level Achievement (SLA) have been employed to test the methodology, and parameters were optimized using a 5-fold cross-validation. Based on the study findings, the simulation model obtains an average MAE of 1.81 following 100 training epochs, substantially boosting ITR and SLA. As it effectively and accurately balances inventory levels with customer needs, the findings demonstrate that the SVM model with SGD is an excellent match for IMO.

Mutual fund investment performance: Indonesia Sharia stock index as characteristics moderating model

Purpose – This study investigates how the Sharia stock price index influences the relationship between various factors, such as the expense ratio, portfolio turnover ratio, cash ratio, age, size, and characteristics of Sharia mutual funds, and their overall performance. Methodology – This study employed a quantitative descriptive research method to analyze 316 populations. Purposive sampling was used to obtain a total of 51 samples. We used research tools for data collection and SMART PLS 4 statistical software to analyze the collected data. Findings – The characteristics of ISSI-moderated mutual funds have a significant positive effect on the performance of Sharia mutual funds. To achieve better performance, investment managers must incur high costs in implementing active strategies. The more active the investment manager is in trading by looking at existing opportunities, the better the performance of the Sharia Mutual Funds. Implications – The implications of this research indicate that the movement of the Sharia stock price index can strengthen the positive causal relationship between several characteristics of Sharia mutual funds. The effects of Sharia mutual fund portfolio instruments, including shares, bonds, and deposits from the Sharia banking industry, also contribute to improving the performance of Sharia mutual funds in Indonesia.Originality – This study investigates the moderating role of the Sharia stock price index on several characteristics of Sharia mutual funds, including the expense ratio, portfolio turnover ratio, cash ratio, age of the mutual funds, and size of the mutual funds, in relation to their performance.

This study aims to analyze the this study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. by using financial ratio. The research method used is quantitative descriptive, the data source is secondary data. The data collection technique was carried out using a documentation technique in the form of PT Unilever Indonesia’s financial statement from 2018 to 2021, which was measured using financial ratio, consisting of: liquidity ratio, solvency ratio, profitability ratio, and activity ratio. The data analysis method in this study is a descriptive analysis method by collecting, processing, and analyzing existing data to provide an overview of the conditions under study. Based on the result of research and analysis that has been carried out, financial performance at PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. is measured using (1) Liquidity ratio, consisting of: current ratio, quick ratio, cash ratio, cash turnover ratio, and net working capital stock ratio, it can be concluded as a whole that its financial performance is declared “Not Good”. (2) Solvency ratio, consisting of: the ratio of debt to assets and debt to equity can be concluded as a whole that its financial performance is declared “Not Good”. (3) Profitability ratio, consisting of: return on investment ratios, return on equity ratios, gross profit margins, and net profit margins, it can be concluded as a whole that the financial performance is declared “Good”. (4) Activity ratio, consisting of: total assets turnover ratio, and fixed assets turnover ratio, it can be concluded that the overall financial performance is stated to be “Good”.

Hospital Pharmaceutical Inventory Control in In-Vitro Fertilization Services Using Minimum-Maximum Stock Level

Type C "X" Specialized Hospital in Semarang experienced in vitro fertilization (IVF) and embryology laboratory consumable medical supplies (CMS) stockouts in early 2023, delaying medical care. Minimum-maximum stock level (MMSL) is an alternative pharmaceutical inventory procurement method. Compared to the conventional method, this study examined how well the MMSL method controls IVF medications and embryology laboratory CMS at Hospital “X” Department of Pharmacy. This study is a quantitative, secondary data-based, quasi-experimental, non-equivalent study without a control group. The study sampled all IVF medications and embryology laboratory CMS data from October to December 2023 at Hospital “X” with consistent supply. MMSL was implemented prospectively in January – March 2024. Twelve (12) IVF medications and fifty-six (56) embryology laboratory CMS were studied. Efficiency analysis included inventory value, inventory turnover ratio (ITOR), and stockout value; effectiveness analysis included stockout incidences. Statistics were tested using Wilcoxon signed-rank and McNemar tests. MMSL implementation led to increased inventory value of IVF medications (from IDR21,514,537.00 to IDR49,635,116.00, p=0.040, p<0.05), decreased inventory value of embryology laboratory CMS (from IDR117,421,582.00 to IDR105,318,804.00, p=0.005, p<0.05), and increased ITOR of embryology laboratory CMS (from 0.82 to 0.84 times, p=0.040, p<0.05). MMSL significantly improved IVF medications and embryology laboratory CMS inventory management efficiency.

The Impact of Research and Development Investment on the Performance of Portuguese Companies

This study investigates the impact of Research and Development (R&D) investment on the performance of Portuguese companies, specifically addressing the gap in understanding how R&D influences a company’s value and performance. We employ a dynamic panel data model estimated using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) to account for potential endogeneity issues. This approach allows us to analyze the influence of R&D investment on the Return on Operating Assets (ROA) for Portuguese companies with significant R&D investments between 2012 and 2019. The analysis reveals that while R&D investment itself may not have a statistically significant short-term impact on ROA, lagged financial performance, leverage, asset turnover ratio, and accounts payable turnover all demonstrate a statistically significant relationship with the dependent variable.

The Nexus Between Human Capital Efficiency and Financial Performance: A Case of Malaysian Plantation Sector

This research discusses “The Impacts of Human Capital Efficiency on Financial Performance in the Malaysian Plantation Sector," which seeks to investigate the correlation between human capital efficiency and financial performance within the Malaysian plantation sector. The study employs a sample of twenty (20) Malaysian Plantation companies using STATA 14 for panel data analysis. The results demonstrate a strong correlation between human capital efficiency and financial performance. Companies that have higher human capital efficiency tend to have better financial performance, as indicated by metrics such as return on assets, asset turnover ratio, and leverage. These findings highlight the significance of efficiently overseeing and utilizing human resources to influence financial results in the plantation sector. The study focuses on the importance of investing in the development and optimization of human capital to improve financial performance. Additional research is advised to investigate other factors that may impact on this association and to evaluate the applicability of the findings to different nature of businesses and environments.

STOCK PRICE : IMPACT OF SALES GROWTH (SG), CASH TURNOVER (CT) AND DIVIDEND PAYOUT RATIO (DPR)

This research aims to analyze the influence of Sales Growth (SG), Cash Turnover (CT), and Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) on Stock Price at PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk during the 2013-2022 period. The study methodology employed is a descriptive approach utilizing quantitative methods. The objective of this study is to elucidate the correlation between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The research focuses on PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk. The secondary data source is acquired from the company's official website's annual financial report. The data analysis involved descriptive tests, classical assumption tests, and quantitative testing such as linear regression analysis, correlation, coefficient of determination, and significance tests. The research results show that there are complex fluctuations between the observed variables. Partially, Sales Growth (SG), Cash Turnover (CT), and Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) do not have a significant effect on Stock Price. Likewise, the three of them simultaneously have no significant effect on Stock Price. The implications of this research highlight the incompatibility of data with existing theory and provide insight into the factors that influence company stock prices. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide information as a basis for consideration, support, and contribution to the company.

PENGARUH PERPUTARAN MODAL KERJA, PERPUTARAN PERSEDIAAN DAN PERPUTARAN PIUTANG TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS

The phenomenon of declining profitability of manufacturing companies from 2018-2020 causes investors to need to know the company's activities through the working capital turnover ratio, inventory turnover, accounts receivable turnover. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of working capital turnover, inventory turnover, accounts receivable turnover on profitability in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. The method applied to process research data is a quantitative-descriptive method with data from the financial statements of the manufacturing sector from 2018-2020. From the results of multiple regression analysis using SPSS 25.0, it is known that working capital turnover has a significant negative effect on profitability. Meanwhile, inventory turnover has no significant negative effect on profitability. Accounts Receivable Turnover has no significant positive effect on profitability.

ANALYSIS OF LIQUIDITY, SOLVENCY, PROFITABILITY, ACTIVITY, INVESTMENT RATIO IN ASSESSING FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE ON TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANIES REGISTERED ON THE IDX YEAR 2020 – 2022

The aim of this research is to analyze Liquidity, Solvency, Profitability, Activity, Investment Ratios in Assessing Financial Performance in Telecommunication Companies Listed on the IDX in 2020 - 2022. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method, the data in this research uses data secondary. Based on the research results, it shows that the Liquidity Ratio of PT. Inti Bangun Sejahtera, Tbk in 2021 was measured based on the Current Ratio of 280.86% which was declared very good in assessing Financial Performance. PT Solvency Ratio. Inti Bangun Sejahtera, Tbk in 2021 was measured based on the Debt to Asset Ratio of 31.03% which was declared very good in assessing Financial Performance. Profitability Ratio PT. Solusi Tunas Pratama Tbk in 2022 based on a Net Profit Margin of 49.59% is declared very good in assessing Financial Performance. The Activity Ratio which is measured based on the Total Asset Turnover Ratio is stated to be not good in assessing Financial Performance. Investment Ratio PT. Bali Towerindo Sentra Tbk in 2022, which was measured based on a Dividend Yield of 18.43%, was declared very good in assessing the Financial Performance of telecommunications companies listed on the IDX in 2020 - 2022.

Penilaian Tingkat Kesehatan Keuangan Berdasarkan Rasio Likuiditas, Solvabilitas, dan Profitabilitas Pada PT. Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia

The aim of this research is to assess the financial condition of PT. Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia in the 2019-2023 period based on liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios. The methodology used is quantitative descriptive analysis using secondary data from the company's financial reports. The research results show that although the company's liquidity is said to be liquid, a turnover ratio of more than 500% is considered too high. This indicates inadequate capital utilization. The solvency ratio shows a company's healthy financial position, identifying the company as being able to fulfill its long-term obligations. However, the profitability ratio shows poor financial health with the ratio far below standard, tends to decline, and has low ROA and ROE values. The company's inability to use resources efficiently to generate profits is the cause of this decline. Overall, even though PT Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia is liquid and solvable, its financial health for the 2019-2023 period still needs to be improved, especially in terms of profitability. The analysis shows that to increase profitability, companies must improve the effectiveness of current asset management and maximize resource utilization. This study provides an overview of the company's financial situation and can be used as a reference for future management.

Examining the long-run relationship between stock market development and Nigerian economic growth

Purpose This paper aims to examine the long-run relationship between stock market development and Nigerian economic growth from 1980 to 2020. Design/methodology/approach Market capitalization, number of listed companies, total value traded ratio and turnover ratio are used. An autoregressive distributed lag model is used for the analysis. Findings The market capitalization ratio and turnover ratio have positively significant links with economic growth. The number of listed companies has a negative and non-significant impact on economic growth. Total value traded ratio has a negatively significant link with economic growth in the short run. The positive but insignificant relationship between traded value ratio and turnover ratio in the long run growth means that the Nigerian stock market is growth inducing and on the right track as stock market liquidity drives growth. Research limitations/implications The government and Security Exchange Commission should increase the market liquidity level by improving the trading infrastructure. The government and regulatory authorities should improve and effectively implement the existing policies that would ensure stock market growth. This facilitates the investors’ speed to purchase and sell shares. The Securities and Exchange Commission should reduce transaction costs to encourage active trading activities. The market should be diversified with investment instruments such as derivatives, futures and swap options which would limit the adverse effect of listed companies in the market. To increase the stock market liquidity, the Security and Exchange Commission should apply moral suasion to bring private companies that have met certain financial thresholds to convert to public companies. Government should improve on the legislation to encourage more private companies to list on the stock exchange. Originality/value The study findings add value in that stock market development has a positive impact on economic growth in Nigeria.

Analis Rasio Keuangan Untuk Mengukur Kinerja Keuangan Pada PT. Astra Otoparts, Tbk Periode Tahun 2021-2023

Abstract : This study aims to assess the financial performance of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk from 2021 to 2023 using Liquidity, Solvency, Activity, and Profitability Ratios, based on secondary data from financial reports obtained from the IDX website. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method. The findings indicate that Liquidity Ratios and Solvency Ratios are below industry standards, reflecting an unhealthy financial condition, except for the Debt to Equity Ratio which is healthy. Activity Turnover Ratios in 2023 are also below industry averages, although Days of Receivable, Fixed Asset Turnover, and Working Capital Turnover in 2021-2022 show satisfactory conditions. Profitability Ratios, including Profit Margin on Sales, Net Profit Margin, and Return on Investment, remain below industry averages, indicating poor financial health.

Analisis Pengaruh Forecasting Demand Terhadap Efisiensi Manajemen Persediaan

This study analyzes the impact of demand forecasting on inventory management efficiency, focusing on the implementation of the ARIMA method in the context of a manufacturing company in Indonesia. Using a quantitative case study approach, the research explores the relationship between forecasting accuracy and key inventory performance metrics. Results indicate that improved forecasting accuracy significantly enhances inventory efficiency, with the ARIMA method outperforming traditional methods. The implementation of ARIMA resulted in a 36.8% increase in Inventory Turnover Ratio and a 53.3% decrease in stockout rate. Time series analysis revealed a long-term improvement trend in inventory efficiency with significant seasonal components. This research provides valuable insights for practitioners and academics on the critical role of demand forecasting in optimizing inventory management and the potential of the ARIMA method in improving companies' operational efficiency.
