Smart Emotion Recognition Framework: A Secured IoVT Perspective

The promise of automated-driving cars causes the automotive and consumer electronics (CE) sector to rethink not only what it means to drive, but also the relationship between the car and the consumer. Recent trend in Internet of Vehicle Things (IoVT) promotes robust interactions between humans and vehicles, which ultimately points to enhance human abilities, such as hearing, visual surveillance, or emotion awareness, as a part of safety concern. The voice-based interactions (speech recognition and stress monitoring) will improve in-time awareness of the vehicle status. Unfortunately, the existing modulation domain speech enhancement techniques achieve low satisfactory performance in detecting humans’ stress emotions where the environmental noise is inevitable and varies with the location of every passing vehicle. Furthermore, the computational load introduces challenges in their implementation in automated vehicles. In this direction, we propose a front-end processing framework, in particular to stress emotion detection cases (such as anger, sad, fear, and happy) in different nonstationary noisy environments, such as car, airport, traffic, and train. This article encompasses three interrelated issues: 1) analysis, modification, and synthesis of noisy speech emotion in modulation domain in real-time background noise, 2) extracting set of Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients features from noisy speech stimuli for speech emotion recognition, and 3) evaluation of overall system performance by means of objective parameters, and confusion matrix in adverse environments using speech emotion database Interactive Emotional Dyadic Motion Capture. The experimental results show that favorable performance in state-of-the-art stress monitoring yields high levels of consumer satisfaction for security in vehicle comparison to traditional frameworks.

Insight to security paradigm , research trend & statistics in internet of things(IoT)

The technology named Internet of Things (IoT) extends the ability for the man kind and computers to control billions of connectivity entities such as actuators, sensors, and other services. Realizing IoT as a system would permit integration of the cyber-world in an uninterrupted aspect to the distributive environment and will centrally make changes and authorize the human interaction to the outside world. This paper surveys on the major issues of concerns in IoT regarding security and privacy facing few enormous challenges. To accommodate the most promising technology, we briefly review the existing techniques analyzing the features of security architecture helpful in controlling the perquisites for it. Conventional measures of security countermeasures cannot be directly implied to the heterogeneous technology of IoT as there are number of standards and stacks for communication presumed.

Recent Security Trends in Internet of Things: A Comprehensive Survey

The Internet of Things (IoT) aims to transform everyday physical objects into an interconnected ecosystem with digital data accessible anywhere and anytime. “Things” in IoT are embedded with sensing, processing, and actuating capabilities and cooperate in providing smart and innovative services autonomously. The rapid spread of IoT services arises different security vulnerabilities that need to be carefully addressed. Several emerging and promising technologies and techniques are introduced to improve the security of IoT. This paper aims to provide an up-to-date vision of the current research topics related to IoT security. Initially, we introduce common elements and protocols of IoT to demystify the origins of threats in IoT. Then, we propose a taxonomy of IoT attacks and analyze the security vulnerabilities of IoT at different layers. Subsequently, we provide a comparison of recent security schemes based on emerging solutions including fog computing, edge computing, software-defined networking (SDN), blockchain, lightweight cryptography, homomorphic and searchable encryption, and machine learning. Finally, security challenges are discussed and future directions are highlighted for future interested researchers.

Two-Stage Joint Optimal Scheduling of a Distribution Network With Integrated Energy Systems

The coordinated operation of an integrated energy system (IES) and a distribution network is the inevitable development trend of the energy Internet of the future. The day-ahead optimal scheduling of the IES is an important way to improve new energy efficiency and the energy economy. When the IES and the distribution network exchange electrical energy, the voltage of the distribution network may be out of limit. This article presents a two-stage joint optimal scheduling method for a distribution network with IESs to improve the economy of the IESs and the safety of the distribution network. In the first stage, the user’s demand response and the electrical energy interaction between IESs are considered, and the schedulable potential of the systems is fully tapped. In the second stage, a bi-level scheduling model is adopted: the upper model takes the distribution network as the control object and reduces the power loss by adjusting the exchange power between the distribution network and the IESs. The lower model takes the IESs as the control objects and obtains the scheme with the lowest cost in each IES through multi-objective particle swarm optimization. Taking the IEEE 33-node distribution system as an example, simulation research is performed to show that the total network loss is 17.01% lower and the total cost is 5.36% lower than the method without two-stage optimal scheduling, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.

A Stream Processing Framework Based on Linked Data for Information Collaborating of Regional Energy Networks

Coordinating of energy networks to form a city-level multidimensional integrated energy system becomes a new trend in Energy Internet (EI). The collaborating in the information layer is a core issue to achieve smart integration. However, the heterogeneity of multiagent data, the volatility of components, and the real-time analysis requirement in EI bring significant challenges. To solve these problems, in this article we propose a stream processing framework based on linked data for information collaboration among multiple energy networks. The framework provides a universal data representation based on linked data and semantic relation discovery approach to model and semantically fuse heterogeneous data. Semantics-based information transmission contracts and channels are automatically generated to adapt to structural changes in EI. A multimodel-based dynamic adjusting stream processing is implemented using data semantics. A real-world case study is implemented to demonstrate the adaptability, feasibility, and flexibility of the proposed framework.

We hereby are delighted to announce that Suleyman Demirel University, Turkey, Isparta Applied Sciences University and College of Engineering, Roorkee India in association with ICCRLAB supported by Universal Innovators has hosted the First International Conference on Computational Research and Data Analytics (ICCRDA-2020). ICCRDA-2020 moved from Physical mode to Digital (Virtual) mode due to Pandemic COVID-19. The conference was able to attract a diverse range of engineering practitioners, academicians, scholars, and industry delegates, with the reception of abstracts including more than 1200 authors from different parts of the world. The committee of professionals dedicated towards the conference is striving to achieve a high quality technical program with nine different tracks on Inventive Computing, Big data, Data Analytics and Research, Recent trends in IT, Machine learning and Internet of Things. All the tracks chosen in the conference are interrelated and are very famous among present day research community. Therefore, a lot of research is happening in the above-mentioned tracks and their related sub-areas. More than 300 full-length papers have been received, among which the contributions are focused on theoretical, computer simulationbased research, and laboratory-scale experiments. Amongst these manuscripts, 129 papers have been included in the IOP [Material Science and Engineering] proceedings after a thorough two-stage review and editing process. All the manuscripts submitted to the ICCRDA-2020 were peer-reviewed by at least two independent reviewers, who were provided with a detailed review proforma. The comments from the reviewers were communicated to the authors, who incorporated the suggestions in their revised manuscripts. The recommendations from two reviewers were taken into consideration while selecting a manuscript for inclusion in the proceedings. It is an exalting experience to finally see these elite contributions materialize into book volume as ICCRDA-2020 proceedings by IOP entitled “International Conference on Computational Research and Data Analytics”.ICCRDA-2020 invited two key-note speakers, who are eminent researchers in the field of computer science and engineering, from different parts of the world. In addition to the plenary sessions on each day of the conference, nine concurrent technical sessions are held to assure the oral presentation of around 129 accepted papers. The research part of the conference was organized in a total of 33 special sessions. These special sessions provided the opportunity for researchers conducting research in specific areas to present their results in a more focused environment.An international conference of such magnitude and release of the ICCRDA-2020 proceedings by IOP has been the remarkable outcome of the untiring efforts of the entire organizing team. Evolution of Fog Computing Applications, Opportunities, and Challenges

The emerging trend of internet of things in recent times is a blessing for various industries in the world. With the increasing amount of data generated by these devices, it makes it difficult for proper data flow and computation over the regular cloud architecture. Fog computing is a great alternative for cloud computing as it supports computation in devices over a large distributed geographical area, which is a plus for fog computing. Having applications in various domains including healthcare, logistics, design, marketing, manufacturing, and many more, fog computing is a great boon for the future. Evolving fog computing in various domains with different methods and techniques has shaped a clear future for it. Applicability of fog computing in vehicular communications and storage-as-a-service has made the term more popular these days. It is a review of all the possible fog computing-enabled applications and their future scope. It also prepares a basis for further research into fog computing domain-enabled services with low latency and minimum costs.

Impact of Trump's Promotion of Unproven COVID-19 Treatments and Subsequent Internet Trends: Observational Study.

BackgroundIndividuals with large followings can influence public opinions and behaviors, especially during a pandemic. In the early days of the pandemic, US president Donald J Trump has endorsed the use of unproven therapies. Subsequently, a death attributed to the wrongful ingestion of a chloroquine-containing compound occurred.ObjectiveWe investigated Donald J Trump’s speeches and Twitter posts, as well as Google searches and Amazon purchases, and television airtime for mentions of hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine, azithromycin, and remdesivir.MethodsTwitter sourcing was catalogued with Factba.se, and analytics data, both past and present, were analyzed with Tweet Binder to assess average analytics data on key metrics. Donald J Trump’s time spent discussing unverified treatments on the United States’ 5 largest TV stations was catalogued with the Global Database of Events, Language, and Tone, and his speech transcripts were obtained from White House briefings. Google searches and shopping trends were analyzed with Google Trends. Amazon purchases were assessed using Helium 10 software.ResultsFrom March 1 to April 30, 2020, Donald J Trump made 11 tweets about unproven therapies and mentioned these therapies 65 times in White House briefings, especially touting hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine. These tweets had an impression reach of 300% above Donald J Trump’s average. Following these tweets, at least 2% of airtime on conservative networks for treatment modalities like azithromycin and continuous mentions of such treatments were observed on stations like Fox News. Google searches and purchases increased following his first press conference on March 19, 2020, and increased again following his tweets on March 21, 2020. The same is true for medications on Amazon, with purchases for medicine substitutes, such as hydroxychloroquine, increasing by 200%.ConclusionsIndividuals in positions of power can sway public purchasing, resulting in undesired effects when the individuals’ claims are unverified. Public health officials must work to dissuade the use of unproven treatments for COVID-19.

Analysis of E-marketing using mobile in development of E-commerce

Following to growing trend of internet and advancement in ICT and along with quick expansion and rising potentials of cellular, it has emerged as a new business and converted into a market with high potential. In other words, internet development and creating of a new space has led to emerging another type of marketing called E-marketing and E-commerce and marketing have gone beyond internet space and Personal Computers (PCs) by ever-increasing expansion of mobile devices and appeared in mobile phones. Fast growth of wireless communication technology caused commerce and mobile internet to penetrate more than ever. No phenomenon has facilities and concerns of wireless technology in history of technology. Wireless communication technology has penetrated into all life aspects and dimensions including commerce and marketing and created many opportunities to create interpersonal relationship with customers in E-commerce world. Number of mobile users has exceeded from 5 billion peoples in the world. Perhaps one of those reasons is this point that mobile phone is no longer a device for conversation, but a means to do types of tasks and activities e.g. playing, awareness of weather conditions, finding routes and roads, access to social media, listening to music and watching movie and also reading news. Mobile promotions have been rapidly developed in E-commerce and various types of them appeared. The enterprises may target certain audiences and users can permanently access to them since individuals are accompanied permanently to their mobile similar to money bag. Despite their advantages, mobile promotions are exposed to many barriers. Among these challenges and barriers these promotions may encounter one could refer to right/ rights of consumers with regard to entering their privacy because mobile phone is deemed as privacy for individuals so one should be careful in this regard. This paper has discussed and defined quality of E-marketing in Section 2 and mentioned marketing and doing transactions by mobile phone via internet in Section 3. It has been concerned with advantages and potentials of mobile trade in Section 4 and barriers and challenges this novel technology encounters in Section 5 and finally a conceptual model has been introduced for factors of acceptance of mobile marketing by community members in Section 6.

A Review of Techniques and Methods for IoT Applications in Collaborative Cloud-Fog Environment

Cloud computing is widely used for its powerful and accessible computing and storage capacity. However, with the development trend of Internet of Things (IoTs), the distance between cloud and terminal devices can no longer meet the new requirements of low latency and real-time interaction of IoTs. Fog has been proposed as a complement to the cloud which moves servers to the edge of the network, making it possible to process service requests of terminal devices locally. Despite the fact that fog computing solves many obstacles for the development of IoT, there are still many problems to be solved for its immature technology. In this paper, the concepts and characteristics of cloud and fog computing are introduced, followed by the comparison and collaboration between them. We summarize main challenges IoT faces in new application requirements (e.g., low latency, network bandwidth constraints, resource constraints of devices, stability of service, and security) and analyze fog-based solutions. The remaining challenges and research directions of fog after integrating into IoT system are discussed. In addition, the key role that fog computing based on 5G may play in the field of intelligent driving and tactile robots is prospected.

Patterns and trends in Internet of Things (IoT) research: future applications in the construction industry

PurposeThe Internet of Things (IoT) provides exciting opportunities for the construction industry to solve its time and resource constraints and frequent defaults. This study seeks to identify and rank the perceived importance level of principal research areas associated with the IoT and the construction industry by utilising a scientific mapping tool (i.e. VOSviewer). Such knowledge would enable key drivers for successful adoption of the IoT and digitisation technologies to be outlined. An analysis of key drivers and research trends that facilitates the development of a roadmap for applying the IoT and digital technologies in the construction sector is therefore much needed.Design/methodology/approachAn interpretivist philosophical lens was adopted to analyse published work as secondary data, where each publication represented a unit of analysis. A total of 417 peer-reviewed journal review articles covering the IoT within the construction domain were systematically reviewed using a mixed-methods approach, utilising qualitative-scientometric analyses techniques.FindingsThe results revealed a field of study in a fledgling stage, with a limited number of experts operating somewhat in isolation and offering single-point solutions instead of taking an integrated “holistic” approach. Key publication outlets were identified and the main focus of research undertaken being in the technical areas of smart buildings, smart construction objects and environmental sustainability. The major effects of adopting the IoT within the construction industry were identified as high-speed reporting, complete process control, data explosion leading to deep data analytics, strict ethical and legal expectations. Key drivers of the IoT adoption were outlined: interoperability; data privacy and security; flexible governance structures; proper business planning and models.Practical implicationsThe study benefits researchers and industry practitioners alike. For researchers, the identified gaps reveal areas of high priority in future research. For construction companies, particularly small to medium-sized businesses, the study raises awareness of the latest developments and potential applicability of the IoT in the industry. For government agencies and policymakers, this study offers a point of reference in directing the adoption of the IoT smoothly in the construction sector and provides guidelines and standards for maximising the potential benefits.Originality/valueThe study is the first scientometric review of the existing body of knowledge in the context of application of the IoT in the construction industry. Findings expose knowledge gaps in contemporary research, specifically, a broader consideration of organisational adjustments needed to accommodate the IoT usage, economic analyses and impediments to wider acceptance.

Wearable triboelectric nanogenerators for biomechanical energy harvesting

With compelling features of flexibility, conformability, and user friendliness, wearable bioelectronics have undergone tremendous development on account of miniaturization and multifunction advancements which could cater to the development trend of Internet of Things (IoT) and fifth-generation wireless technology. However, powering wearable bioelectronics sustainably and pervasively is beyond the capability of traditional power supply systems and remains a challenge and highly desired. By using the coupling effect of contact electrification and electrostatic induction, triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) were demonstrated to efficiently convert irregular and low-frequency biomechanical energy from human body movements into electrical energy for the sustainable powering of wearable bioelectronics. In this article, the latest representative achievements of wearable TENGs for electricity generation are comprehensively reviewed with the order of the accessible biomechanical energy on the human body from head to feet. This review not only covers the fundamental working mechanism, rational structural design, selection of the tribo-materials, and fabrication process of wearable TENGs, but also investigates the movement patterns and characteristics of each part of the body, as well as its feasibility and convenience for electricity generation. Finally, perspectives and challenges regarding wearable TENGs at present are discussed. • It gives a comprehensive review of wearable TENGs for on-body electricity generation. • We reviewed the field with the consideration of movement patterns and characteristics of each body part. • Challenges and problems are discussed to advance the field development.

Research on the evolution of global internet network interconnection relationship in 21 years

The global Internet is composed of tens of thousands of autonomous system networks that are interconnected through a border gateway protocol. The analysis of changes in the interconnected relationships of the global Internet network is essential for studying the evolutionary trend of the global Internet. In addition, this analysis can also contribute toward the research on China's Internet development gaps. This article draws on the global Internet network status map for 21 years, starting from 1998 to 2019, based on inter-domain routing data sets of international third parties and China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. Moreover, the article also conducts a big data analysis on the relationship between global Internet network changes. The research results show that the global Internet network interconnection has increased, by nearly 60 times in the past 21 years. Peer-to-peer interconnection has gradually surpassed transit interconnection as the main mode of global interconnection. Furthermore, large Internet companies are playing an increasingly important role in global interconnection. Simultaneously, the results indicate the gradual movement of China's Internet base toward the global core and the continuous improvements of the global network's status.

Performance Modeling of Energy Efficiency for Sensors Deployment in Embedded Wireless Sensor Networks

Present trend of Internet of Things (IoT) and sensors deployment increased in every sectors enormously from last one decade. But the deployment challenges of sensors and their networks with respect to their contextual dynamics and system performance is not much investigated. Hence there is a need to investigate the deployment challenges of sensors supporting the computing system that exactly imitates the phenomenon by understanding the context and other influencing parameters, i.e., to sense the environmental parameter values accurately and precisely from the respective embedded sensor system. In this paper, a methodology is proposed to analyze the performance of embedded Wireless Sensor Networks (eWSNs) with respect to energy efficiency based on sensors deployment. The method involves in clustering the sensor nodes based on distance from the phenomenon and its physical location. Sensors and sensor network lifetime energy consumption for data acquisition is analyzed using Markovian model. Simulation platform for random deployment of sensor nodes along with Self Organizing map neural network for clustering with various cases of sensors deployment, network dynamics and environment are studied to understand the performance of the embedded WSN system for energy efficiency.

An Energy-Efficient Framework for Internet of Things Underlaying Heterogeneous Small Cell Networks

Long-term evolution advanced (LTE-A) heterogeneous networks have been observed to offer reliable and service-differentiated communication, thereby enabling numerous mobile applications such as smart meters, remote sensors, and vehicular applications. This fact envisions the trend of Internet of Things (IoT) underlaying heterogeneous small cell networks. On this basis, this paper proposes an energy-efficient framework for such a scenario, where multitier heterogeneous small cell networks provide wireless connection and seamless coverage for mobile users and IoT nodes. In our proposed framework, an elastic cell-zooming algorithm based on the quality of service and traffic loads of end-users is performed by adaptively adjusting the transmission power of small cells in order to reduce energy consumption. In addition, aiming at the high energy efficiency of IoT underlaying small cell networks, a clustering-based IoT structure is used, where a SWIPT-CH selection algorithm is proposed to maximize the average residual energy of IoT nodes and to mitigate resource competition between IoT nodes and mobile users. Extensive simulations demonstrate that our proposed framework can significantly enhance the energy efficiency for IoT underlaying small cell networks with guaranteed outage probability.

Internet of Things and Banking Frauds-Friends or Foes? A Study of Indian Public and Private Sector Banks

Ever since the introduction of banking business in this complex structure of human living, banks are believed to be one of the institutions which are recommended for trustworthiness and treasure repositories for the general public. These are the institutions which were and are still trusted for their veracity by the civilians of every nation. However, with the passage of time the increase in the technology results in the virtue of banking organization which seems to be under a big question mark and the main reason of this integrity loss of banking organizations in the present era is an epidemic known as fraud. Moreover, bank frauds are one of the crucial areas to be resolved from the angle of internet of things which includes many of the technological loopholes. Therefore, the present study aims to provide an appropriate solution to the problem of fraud in the present scenario of increasing trends of Internet of things in the banking industry especially in Indian context. The study discussed about the present fraud preventive measures used by the public and private sector banks in India and has also provided an elaborated model for fraud risk management which gives a comprehensive structure to be utilized in regard to the fraud prevention in banks.

STUDI PENGENALAN INTERNET OF THINGS BAGI GURU DAN SISWA SMK BINA NUSA SLAWI SEBAGAI WAWASAN SALAH SATU CIRI REVOLUSI INDUSTRI 4.0

Bina Nusa Slawi Vocational School (Binus) is one of the Vocational High Schools located in Slawi District, Tegal Regency. The results of a survey conducted, that almost all teachers and students (99%) had heard about the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Internet of Things, but did not understand the meaning of it all, even though the industrial revolution 4.0 had disrupted almost all fields of science and lines of life. The survey results also show that all teachers and students have used internet maximally, but development trend of the use internet that is not yet widely understood, especially regarding: Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), Cloud Computing, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence. Therefore needed an Introduction Study Internet of Things for Teachers and Students of SMK Bina Nusa Slawi as Insights One of the Characteristics of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The method implemented is by giving presentations, discussions, and demonstrations about Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. Based on activities that have been carried out, the results obtained are knowledge, understanding, competence of teachers and students of SMK Bina Nusa Slawi about Internet of Things increasing.

Internet Marketing as a Modern Enterprise Communication Tool

The article identifies the need for the use of Internet marketing technologies to promote goods and services in a modern domestic enterprise. Based on the analysis, the need to improve the marketing, sales and communication policy of domestic enterprises using the Internet is substantiated. The main marketing processes that are implemented using Internet marketing technologies, which include marketing research on the Internet, marketing communications on the Internet and promotion and marketing of products over the Internet. The main types of Internet marketing at a modern enterprise are studied. Current trends in Internet marketing communications are identified. The advantages of the use of Internet technologies in the marketing activities of enterprises are substantiated, which also affect the efficiency (or empowerment) not only in marketing activities, but also in other areas of the enterprise.

Research on the Medium and Long Term Development Framework of Smart Grid under the Background of Energy Internet

Abstract This paper focuses on the development of smart grid in the trends of the energy Internet, analyze the development situation of smart grid and studies the requirements for the construction of major advanced smart grid demonstration areas in China. Under this background, this paper proposes medium and long term China smart grid development strategies, key tasks, technical routes and implementation plans. And planning practices in typical regions are carried out to support the implementation of major national strategic decision-making deployments.

A Survey on Trend and Classification of Internet of Things Reviews

The Internet of Things (IoT) is shaping the current and next generation of the Internet. The vision of IoT is to embed communication capabilities with a highly distributed, ubiquitous and dense heterogeneous devices network. This vision includes the adaptation of secure mobile networks, anytime, anywhere, by anyone or anything with new intelligent applications and services. Many efforts have been made to review the literature related to the IoT for the benefit of IoT development. However, many issues need to be addressed to overtake the full potential of the IoT. Therefore, this paper aims to classify and standardize IoT research areas by considering review papers that were published between 2010 and 2019. This paper analyzes a total of 95 related reviews, which were manually selected from databases based on 6 chosen areas. This paper presents the trends and classification of IoT reviews based on 6 research areas, namely, application, architecture, communication, challenges, technology, and security. IoT communication research has been dominating the trends with 21% of total reviews and more than 100% research growth in the last 10 years. Hence, this paper can provide useful insights into specific emerging areas of IoT to assist future research.
