System semiotic approach to solving the "Zero-Point Problem" of an innovation system: a conceptual model for filling the project funnel through narratives and worldview constructs
  • Apr 27, 2026
  • Semiotic studies
  • Dmitry V Gorbunov

The article proposes a solution to a fundamental problem in innovation management – the "zero-point problem," associated with a shortage of high-quality ideas at the input of the innovation funnel. Dominant models focused on the selection and diffusion of finished solutions treat the initial pool of ideas as given, without examining the mechanisms of its semiotic formation. The purpose of the study is to overcome this limitation by developing a conceptual "Funnel–Reflector" model based on an interdisciplinary synthesis. In this model, the traditional project selection tool (the "funnel") is complemented by a mechanism of purposeful generation (the "reflector") that operates with virtual and fictional product-narratives, mental models, and images of the future within a semiotic space (the semiosphere). The theoretical foundation of the approach is an integration of narrative economics, semiotics, the philosophy of semiotic realism, sociology, and knowledge management theory. Within the framework of semiotic realism, the functioning of the "Reflector" is interpreted as the management of semiodynamics-the process of activating "virtual particles" of meaning in order to enable their subsequent materialization.A key element of the model is the Idea Readiness Level (IRL) scale, which describes the process of meaning generation and semiotic "maturation" from an initial emotional impulse to a fully developed concept. The article advances a hypothesis regarding a multiplicative increase in the number of ideas depending on the depth of integration between the reflector and the funnel. The practical significance of the study lies in the development of new instruments for managing innovative activity, including narrative laboratories and metrics for assessing the semiotic activity of innovation ecosystems.

Wage justice in the management of Islamic educational institutions: An analysis of the Hadith “give the worker his wage before his sweat dries”
  • Apr 24, 2026
  • Priviet Social Sciences Journal
  • Trian Hermawan + 1 more

This study examines wage justice in Islamic educational institutions through an analysis of the Prophetic hadith “Give the worker his wages before his sweat dries” (HR. Ibn Majah) and its relevance to contemporary human resource management. The study is motivated by persistent issues such as delayed wage payments, inadequate compensation, and structural inequalities affecting educators.Using a qualitative approach with a library research design, this study integrates normative analysis of hadith and fiqh literature with contemporary theories of organizational justice, including distributive, procedural, and temporal justice. The findings reveal that the hadith embodies a multidimensional framework of wage justice that aligns with modern management theory while extending it through ethical and spiritual accountability. However, a significant gap persists between these normative principles and institutional practices, driven by managerial limitations, structural inequality, and cultural narratives that undermine professionalism. In response, this study proposes an integrative model of fair wage management based on competence, welfare adequacy (kifayah), timely payment systems, and transparent contractual governance. The study concludes that wage justice in Islam constitutes an institutional obligation that must be operationalized within organizational systems. The proposed model offers both theoretical and practical contributions by bridging Islamic ethical principles with contemporary management practices. Future research is recommended to empirically validate the model across diverse educational contexts.

Identifying and Using Nonlinear and Interactive Control Variables
  • Apr 24, 2026
  • Journal of Management
  • Andreas Salmen + 2 more

Nonlinear and interactive effects (NIEs) are central to management theory. Consequently, although researchers commonly include linear control variables, the omission of nonlinear and interactive control variables (NICs) can lead to incorrect conclusions because the omission can distort statistical tests and effect-size estimates. We reviewed 548 quantitative articles published between 2021 and 2023 in Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Strategic Management Journal. We discovered that about 73% tested for NIEs, but only 3% included NICs. Also, by reanalyzing a published study, we demonstrate that the exclusion of theoretically relevant NICs can reverse substantive conclusions, highlighting the threat such omissions pose to theory advancement. To address this methodological challenge, we introduce a five-step guide for systematically identifying, evaluating, and integrating NICs into research involving NIEs. The guide offers a structured, theory-driven approach that uses associations among model variables and their linear controls to determine which NICs are critical for unbiased estimation of NIEs. We also explain how to avoid over-control, maintain statistical efficiency, and transparently manage omitted NICs. Applying the five-step approach strengthens the validity of causal inference in studies of nonlinear and interactive effects and enhances the robustness of empirical results. In addition to improving estimation accuracy, the systematic and theory-based inclusion of NICs advances theory development by clarifying boundary conditions, distinguishing competing explanations, and enabling the cumulative integration of empirical results.

Impact of cross-device sequence on ad avoidance in online behavioral advertising
  • Apr 22, 2026
  • Journal of Consumer Marketing
  • Zhongpeng Cao + 2 more

Purpose This study aims to examine how the sequence of cross-device online behavioral advertising (OBA) affects ad avoidance, drawing on communication privacy management (CPM) theory. It explores perceived privacy invasiveness as a mediator and cross-platform delivery as a moderator. Design/methodology/approach Two experiments were conducted. Experiment 1 assessed the impact of cross-device sequence on perceived privacy invasiveness and ad avoidance. Experiment 2 investigated how cross-platform transfer moderates the relationship between sequence and perceived privacy invasiveness. Findings When OBA shifts from smartphone to computer, the change from a device with higher self-connection to one with lower self-connection disrupts privacy boundaries, increasing privacy invasiveness and ad avoidance. Conversely, OBA flowing from computer to smartphone maintains stable privacy boundaries, reducing perceived privacy invasiveness and ad avoidance. Moreover, when OBA occurs across different (vs the same) platforms, the turbulence between the collective privacy boundaries of the two platforms strengthens (vs weakens) the relationship between cross-device sequence and perceived privacy invasiveness. Research limitations/implications This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the factors influencing OBA avoidance, offering valuable insights into consumer privacy boundary management and advancing theoretical frameworks. Practical implications Advertisers should optimize sequences across devices to reduce avoidance and minimize cross-platform transfer to avoid heightened privacy concerns from information transfer between platforms. Originality/value This study offers novel insights into how device sequence affects OBA avoidance, integrating CPM theory. It explores the underexamined role of cross-platform transfer in shaping privacy perceptions, contributing new theoretical perspectives to digital advertising.

  • Journal of Modelling in Management
  • Hariprasad Ambadapudi + 1 more

Purpose Risks can arise from vulnerabilities at any supply chain tier, including disruptions caused by financial instability, operational failures or external shocks impacting suppliers, manufacturers or distributors. This study aims to create a decision guide for supply chain practitioners in a multi-tier environment to improve their business profitability and performance based on the Indian automotive industry. This study offers practical insights, facilitates adoption and contributes to the academic literature. Design/methodology/approach This study uses secondary data obtained from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, for the period spanning from 2012 to 2021. The sample consists of 2,800 observations for 11 independent variables covering 280 companies, divided into 5 tiers (Tier 1 to Tier 5) of firms. The analysis uses the panel data regression to identify significant variables for each supply chain tier. Further, the authors used the design of experiments technique to determine the optimal operational levels of significant variables for enhancing profitability for each tier of firms in the supply chain. Findings This research contributes to the contingency theory of management from a supply chain perspective by demonstrating that various tiers of firms in the supply chain should concentrate on specific variables to increase profitability based on their operating conditions. By effectively targeting these variables, the study estimates that all firms in the supply chain can scale up their return on assets under the most favorable modeled scenarios. Originality/value This research applies contingency theory to the supply chain context, offering a tier-specific analysis (Tiers 1–5) of profitability drivers within the Indian automotive supply chain. The study’s focus on tier-specific strategies is unique, addressing the varying needs and challenges across supply chain levels. Furthermore, the research bridges theory and practice by offering actionable insights that enhance profitability without compromising supply chain efficiency. Its emphasis on the Indian automotive sector adds originality, as this market is underexplored in global supply chain literature. This study significantly contributes to academic understanding and practical decision-making in supply chain management.

Adaptive Crisis Management Strategy: Insights From the Hospitel Model in Thailand's COVID‐19 Response
  • Apr 22, 2026
  • Journal of Contingencies and Crisis Management
  • Apirada Chinprateep

ABSTRACT This research examines Thailand's innovative response to the COVID‐19 crisis through the repurposing of hotels ( Hospitels ) as health‐support facilities. Drawing from first‐hand experience within the national task force, the study explores how the public and private sectors collaboratively transformed idle tourism assets into an adaptive healthcare infrastructure. This initiative represents one of the earliest large‐scale applications of strategic resource reconfiguration in the global pandemic context. The analysis integrates perspectives from crisis management theory, dynamic capabilities, resilience thinking, and shared value creation to interpret how organizational adaptability can emerge from necessity. Using a qualitative case‐based approach supported by secondary data from national reports and media archives, the study highlights three dimensions of adaptive collaboration: rapid decision coordination, flexible resource mobilization, and cross‐sector learning. Findings suggest that the Hospitel model generated dual benefits—relieving hospital congestion while maintaining partial business continuity for hotels—thereby transforming crisis response into a shared‐value mechanism. The case illustrates that resilience is not merely reactive capacity but a strategic mindset enabling governments and businesses to co‐create solutions under uncertainty. This insight extends theoretical understanding of sustainability beyond compliance and offers practical implications for future crisis governance and tourism recovery. Drawing from direct participation as a National Policy Maker within Thailand's COVID‐19 task force, this research provides a high‐level strategic analysis of the Hospitel model. Beyond immediate crisis relief, the findings offer a scalable policy framework for national‐level resource reconfiguration. It demonstrates how governments can transform idle private assets into a “Strategic Reserve Infrastructure,” providing a practical roadmap for future crisis governance and sustainable tourism recovery globally.

The Nexus Between Green Solid Waste Management and Sustainable Development in Sanitation Companies in Hargeisa City, Somaliland
  • Apr 21, 2026
  • Pan-African Journal of Education and Social Sciences
  • James Ojigo Owino

This study examined the nexus between green solid waste management and sustainable development among sanitation companies in Hargeisa, Somaliland. This study was anchored on the evolving theory of waste management and employed an explanatory research design. The study targeted 506 employees of sanitation firms working in street cleaning, waste collection, and waste disposal. Stratified and simple random sampling techniques were used to draw a sample of 218 employees. A conceptual model comprising four latent variables was tested using Covariance-based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM). The results indicate that the three green practices of recycling (b=.413, p<.05) and reducing (b=.300, p<.05) are positive and significant predictors of sanitation companies in Hargeisa City. However, reuse (b = 0.180, p > 05) does not significantly predict the firms’ sustainability. These findings imply that sanitation companies in the city can protect the environment and human health by leveraging green waste management practices. Future studies should broaden the scope to include households, as they contribute significantly to waste generation and should be sensitive to green waste management practices.

Shopper AI: Integrating Capabilities and Parasocial Skills
  • Apr 21, 2026
  • Journal of Service Research
  • Kathleen J Kennedy + 2 more

Shopper artificial intelligence (AI) presents a striking paradox: while massive investments drive rapid expansion and increasingly sophisticated AI solutions, two-thirds of consumers express dissatisfaction with AI shopping assistants, citing frustrations with pushy upselling, poor understanding, and inaccurate recommendations. This disconnect motivates our development of the Shopper AI taxonomy. To develop our taxonomy, we synthesized insights from multiple disciplines through a design science research process with empirical validation. Grounded in customer experience management (CEM) theory, our taxonomy identifies 14 dimensions within two meta-characteristics: AI capabilities (knowledge, intelligence, autonomy, breadth of use, quality of work, data privacy) and AI parasocial skills (personalization, anthropomorphism, communications mode, emotion recognition, emotion expression, empathy, influence, engagement). The taxonomy advances service research theory in three ways. First, we extend CEM theory by revealing how AI creates value through interrelated but discrete capabilities and parasocial dimensions. Second, we identify how AI capabilities enable autonomous value creation without active customer participation, representing a new form of value pre-creation. Third, we reveal complex dimensional interactions, where improvements in one dimension can enhance or diminish others. This multidimensional taxonomy provides managers with actionable guidance for navigating dimensional trade-offs, designing efficient, balanced AI systems, identifying context-specific investment priorities, and avoiding common pitfalls.

Sharia marketing strategies in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have received attention in several studies, but research that specifically discusses the integration of the marketing mix (4P) with the functions of sharia business management (POAC) in facing modern market competition remains limited. This study aims to analyze the implementation of sharia marketing strategies and their management from the perspective of sharia business management at Toko Ikhlas MSME in Nagari Koto Baru, IV Nagari Subdistrict, Sijunjung Regency. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving the main informants, namely the business owner, employees, and customers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation, and were then analyzed using interactive analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Toko Ikhlas had implemented sharia marketing strategies through the marketing mix, which includes product, price, place, and promotion, adjusted to community needs and sharia values such as honesty and justice. In addition, the functions of sharia business management, which include planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, had been implemented, although they were still simple and had not yet been formally documented. These findings contribute to the development of sharia business management theory and broaden understanding of sharia marketing practices at the MSME level. The conclusion of this study affirms the importance of integrating sharia marketing strategies with systematic business management in facing modern market competition, while also indicating the need to enhance the use of digital technology and business planning among MSME actors.

  • International Journal of Analysis and Applications
  • Sutana Boonlua + 3 more

Intensive environmental pressures and the global pursuit of carbon neutrality have made digitalization and green technology key drivers of sustainable development at the enterprise level, particularly in the manufacturing industry. This research examines how innovative digital green technologies influence the sustainable development of Chinese-listed manufacturing companies using the POLC+T framework (Planning, Organizing, Leading, Controlling, and Complementary Technology). It utilizes time series data from 400 Chinese A-share manufacturing companies over the period 2014–2024. The research employs the ordinary least squares (OLS) regression analysis and instrumental variable techniques to ensure reliability and address potential intra-relationship issues. The findings show that innovative digital organizing, green technological leading, and innovative digitalization controlling have significant positive impacts on firms’ sustainable development, as measured by environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability scores. Complementary technology such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and blockchain show a significant mediating role, strengthening the sustainable development impacts of key digital and green innovation activities. The research suggests that sustainability outcomes are not only the result of green technology adoption but also of integrated management processes that link digital transformation with strategic environmental leadership. This research contributes to the literature by conceptualizing and empirically validating innovative digital green technology as a multidimensional framework based on management theory. In practice, the findings provide actionable insights for policymakers and managers seeking to accelerate the transformation towards sustainability in the manufacturing sector through coordinated digital and green innovation strategies. Therefore, this research enhances our understanding of how technology-driven management approaches can link economic efficiency and long-term environmental sustainability in emerging economies.

Family Caregivers as the Dominant Voice in Chinese Liver Cancer Discourse on Xiaohongshu: A BERTopic-Based Computational Text Analysis
  • Apr 20, 2026
  • International Theory and Practice in Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Hongyu Jiang + 1 more

China accounts for approximately 50% of global new liver cancer cases, predominantly driven by hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related hepatocellular carcinoma. The disease presents a distinctive socio-medical profile characterized by a prolonged etiological chain (chronic hepatitis B—cirrhosis—liver cancer), late-stage diagnosis, and a cultural norm of family-first disclosure—whereby physicians typically inform family members before patients themselves. These features position family caregivers, rather than patients, as the primary information seekers and communicators in online health discourse. Drawing on the Comprehensive Model of Information Seeking (CMIS) and Communication Privacy Management (CPM) theory, this study analyzes 1,857 liver cancer-related user comments collected from Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book)—a Chinese lifestyle-oriented social media platform with over 300 million monthly active users—between December 2024 and February 2026. BERTopic, a neural topic modeling framework suited to short Chinese social media texts, was employed for inductive topic extraction. The analysis yielded 15 interpretable topics, organized into five thematic categories: clinical diagnosis and treatment (34.8%), emotional support and caregiving (26.3%), upstream chronic disease management (14.2%), symptom and tumor assessment (12.5%), and online health consultation (9.6%). Notably, hepatitis B and cirrhosis medication management emerged as the second-largest topic, directly mirroring the HBV-dominant etiological chain characteristic of Chinese liver cancer. Family-role terms ("father," "mother," "husband") and Buddhist prayer language appeared as high-salience keywords across multiple topics, underscoring the caregiver-driven and culturally embedded nature of the discourse. The study proposes the concept of "proxy information seeker" as a theoretical extension of CMIS, reveals privacy boundary tensions arising from caregivers' routine public disclosure of patient health information under China's non-disclosure culture, and provides empirical grounding for caregiver-oriented platform governance and digital health literacy interventions.

Applicant Relationship Management: A Relational Paradigm For Talent Acquisition
  • Apr 20, 2026
  • International Journal of Business & Management Studies
  • A Specchia + 2 more

Contemporary recruitment practices remain dominated by Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) that operate on elimination logic, sequentially filtering candidates through keyword gates and multiple-hurdle screenings. While efficient at reducing applicant volume, this paradigm systematically discards potentially suitable candidates and degrades the quality of information available to hiring decisions. This paper introduces Applicant Relationship Management (ARM), a relational paradigm for talent acquisition derived from Customer Relationship Management (CRM) theory. ARM reconceptualises applicants as stakeholders in a co-creative assessment process, replacing sequential elimination with compensatory multi-dimensional evaluation, dialogue-based interaction, and sustained relationship management including silver medallist re-engagement. Drawing on stakeholder theory, relationship marketing, and compensatory assessment science, we develop the ARM framework and its lifecycle model. We then examine its implications for emerging regulatory and sustainability reporting frameworks, including the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (which classifies recruitment AI as high-risk from August 2026), the UN Sustainable Development Goals 8 and 10, and the CSRD/ESRS S1 workforce disclosure standards. Preliminary evidence from a pilot platform implementation is reported alongside explicit boundary conditions and a future research agenda with testable propositions. The paper contributes to recruitment theory by proposing a paradigm shift from transactional processing to relational cultivation, and to management practice by offering a framework that aligns operational effectiveness with regulatory compliance and applicant dignity

The article examines the essence of adaptive management strategies for small and medium-sized enterprises in conditions of an unstable economic environment and the full-scale war in Ukraine. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to ensure the resilience, flexibility, and competitiveness of SMEs under conditions of military threats, destruction of production infrastructure, disruption of logistics chains, labor migration, declining consumer demand, and general macroeconomic instability. Under such circumstances, traditional management approaches are becoming less effective, which necessitates the implementation of adaptive strategic decisions aimed at rapid response to external changes and the preservation of business viability. The study summarizes modern scientific approaches to understanding enterprise adaptability within the framework of strategic management theory. Particular attention is paid to the concept of dynamic capabilities, according to which the competitiveness of an enterprise in a turbulent environment depends on its ability to identify opportunities and threats, mobilize internal resources, transform business processes, and adjust strategic priorities in accordance with changes in the external environment. The article also systematizes the approaches of domestic and foreign scholars to defining strategic management as a complex system of long-term managerial decisions focused on sustainable development and organizational flexibility. The key factors influencing the formation of adaptive strategies in the SME sector are identified. These include strategic monitoring of the external environment, innovation orientation, organizational flexibility, development of managerial competencies, and interorganizational cooperation. The current level of implementation of these factors in Ukrainian SMEs is analyzed, and it is established that organizational flexibility is the most widespread component of adaptability, while strategic monitoring, innovation activity, and partnership interaction are often implemented only partially or fragmentarily. It is concluded that Ukrainian SMEs need a systematic integration of adaptive management strategies in order to increase resilience, improve internal efficiency, and strengthen long-term competitiveness. The practical significance of the study lies in substantiating the necessity of a comprehensive combination of key adaptive components as a basis for effective functioning and sustainable development of enterprises in crisis conditions.

Although tourism development strategies have received attention in various studies, studies that specifically discuss strategies for developing natural tourist attractions to increase visitor numbers from the perspective of Sharia business management in a local context remain limited. This study aims to formulate a development strategy for the Kapalo Banda Taram tourist attraction, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, to increase visitor numbers based on a Sharia business management approach. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving informants consisting of tourist attraction managers, the Wali Nagari, surrounding community members, and visitors selected purposively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and were then analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results showed that the Kapalo Banda Taram tourist attraction has strengths in the form of natural potential that remains unspoiled and a beautiful environment, but faces weaknesses in terms of infrastructure, management, and promotion. The available opportunities include increasing interest in nature tourism and government support, whereas the threats faced include competition from other destinations and weather factors. Management efforts have been made, but they have not yet had a significant impact on increasing visitor numbers. These findings contribute to the development of strategic management theory and Sharia business management in the tourism sector. This study concludes that improving management, providing facilities, and strengthening promotion strategies based on Sharia principles are important aspects in developing tourist attractions. The practical implications of this study are intended for managers and local governments, while also opening opportunities for further research on digital promotion and Sharia-based tourism management.

  • M V Kornyakov + 2 more

In modern theory and practice of strategic management, the organization's mission is considered as the fundamental basis of goal setting and long-term planning. The declarative nature of the mission requires an effective implementation mechanism – an organizational management structure. The problem of the relationship between these two key elements of corporate governance remains insufficiently studied, especially based on the empirical data of large Russian companies, which determines the relevance of this study. The theoretical base consists of the works of management classics and modern researchers. The methodology is based on a systematic approach and includes content analysis of public documents, comparative analysis, the method of decomposition of strategic goals, structural and functional analysis, as well as the author's methodological approach to conformity assessment through the chain "mission – strategic goals – structural units". The three largest vertically integrated oil companies in Russia have been selected as the objects of the study. The paper systematizes theoretical approaches to the definition of mission and organizational structure, highlights their key elements and functions. The analysis showed differences in the quality of mission formulas. The key result was an assessment of the compliance of the mission and the structure. The results of the study confirm that the alignment of mission and organizational structure is a critical factor in the effectiveness of strategic management. The partial inconsistency found in two of the three companies indicates potential areas for improvement. The proposed methodological approach can be recommended for diagnosing the quality of strategic management in enterprises of various industries.

Tourism destinations in sub-Saharan Africa face intensifying multidimensional crises, including climate-induced natural disasters, energy insecurity, health pandemics, and macroeconomic volatility. Despite growing scholarly attention to crisis management, the literature reveals a persistent gap between what tourism stakeholders know about crises and what they actually do to prepare for them. This study investigates the awareness–preparedness paradox in Zambia's tourism industry, a structural condition in which near-universal crisis awareness coexists with critically inadequate operational preparedness. This study is anchored in three complementary theoretical frameworks that together provide the conceptual architecture for understanding the awareness–preparedness paradox. The first is crisis management theory as synthesised by Faulkner and extended by Ritchie and Jiang and Faulkner's tourism disaster management framework. Using a convergent parallel mixed-methods design, quantitative data were collected from 137 respondents through stratified purposive sampling across five stakeholder categories — government institutions, private sector tourism operators, community-based organisations, non-governmental organisations, and tourists — drawn from Livingstone, Lusaka, South Luangwa National Park, and Kafue National Park. Quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics, one-sample t-tests, Pearson correlation, and Mann-Whitney U tests; qualitative data were generated through key informant interviews and thematic analysis. Findings reveal a composite crisis awareness mean of 4.58 out of 5.0 (t = 44.09, p < 0.001), significantly above neutral, contrasted with a preparedness capacity mean of 2.98 (t = −0.40, p = 0.689), statistically indistinguishable from doing nothing. This produces a composite awareness–preparedness gap of 1.60 points, most pronounced for natural disasters (Δ = −1.95) and pandemics (Δ = −1.95). The paradox reflects institutional fragmentation, inadequate resource allocation, and absent policy enforcement mechanisms rather than ignorance of risk, indicating that these systemic issues hinder effective crisis management in the tourism sector. The study concludes that Zambia's challenge in managing tourism crises is fundamentally institutional: governance reform, mandatory preparedness requirements, and dedicated resilience financing are the priority interventions for resolving the paradox and building sustainable sector resilience. This study recommended that the Ministry of Tourism and Arts should mandate formal crisis management planning for all registered tourism enterprises, with ZTA providing technical support and monitoring compliance.

Optimally enhancing student potential requires planned and systematic classroom management. At MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, there is a challenge to integrate superior class management to be able to boost student achievement comprehensively, both in terms of intellectual and character. This study aims to describe the superior class management strategy in improving academic and non-academic achievement of students at MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Research informants included the principal, vice principal, teachers, and students to gain a comprehensive perspective. The research findings indicate that superior class management is implemented through four main stages: (1) planning a directed learning program, (2) organizing resources according to competencies, (3) implementing innovative learning, and (4) controlling through continuous evaluation and supervision. This implementation has been proven to have a positive impact on improving learning outcomes and competitive achievements (academic), as well as strengthening discipline, self-confidence, and developing student talents and interests (non-academic). This study provides a practical contribution to educational institution managers regarding the importance of systematic special class management as a model for improving graduate quality. In addition, this study strengthens the theory of educational management regarding the effectiveness of organizing resources in the school environment.
