  • Psychotherapie, Psychosomatik, medizinische Psychologie
  • Julia Mahal + 8 more

This study examined how preferences for face-to-face, video, written, AI-chatbot, and AI-avatar consultations in the context of primary care vary between routine and emotionally sensitive contexts, how attachment orientations and trust in the diagnosis contribute to these preferences, and whether distinct user preference profiles can be identified. In an online survey of 934 German adults, participants rated the appropriateness of five formats across routine and emotionally sensitive contexts. Predictors included trust in the diagnosis, attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance, perceived efficiency, gender, and technical resources. Multilevel models and cluster analysis were applied.Face-to-face was preferred for sensitive consultations, while video and written formats were acceptable for routine tasks. AI formats were less accepted overall but judged more appropriate when trust in the diagnosis was high. Trust in the diagnosis strongly supported acceptance of AI formats, while perceived efficiency was positively associated with higher acceptance of video and AI formats . Other predictors had minor effects. Three user preference profiles emerged: face-to-face-oriented, digital without AI-oriented, and broadly digital & AI-oriented.Format-dependent trust in the diagnosis outweighed efficiency in predicting acceptance (especially for AI), and attachment orientations offer an interpersonal perspective on these patterns. Digital formats can support routine care, but sensitive consultations require face-to-face contact. Trust in the diagnosis is important for AI acceptance, while attachment orientation helps to interpret interpersonal differences. Patient needs are heterogeneous; services should provide transparent, efficient, and flexible options without replacing face-to-face care.

El fenómeno de los pódcast diarios en la prensa española de proximidad
  • Feb 27, 2026
  • Revista de la Asociación Española de Investigación de la Comunicación
  • María Rosario Onieva Mallero

Since its inception in 2017, the daily podcast segment has experienced a notable surge in popularity, as evidenced by the success of “The Daily” by The New York Times. This phenomenon has prompted considerable interest within the scientific literature, which has sought to examine it in greater detail. The objective of this research is to analyse the role of these entities within the production structure of Spanish business groups specialising in local press. The sixteen main media organisations were selected, and a total of seven daily podcasts were identified. Subsequently, an analysis sheet combining quantitative and qualitative aspects was applied to these podcasts. It can be concluded that despite the particular interest this type of content may hold for corporations, there are still very few examples of it in practice. This is due to the additional economic costs involved in its implementation, namely in terms of human and technical resources. These costs are not always compensated in the short and medium term, for example, in the form of advertising revenue and sponsorship. This makes it challenging for corporations that lack the necessary financial resources, together with the necessary willingness of their managers and shareholders, to assume these costs.

  • Feb 27, 2026
  • Journal of Science and Technology Policy Management
  • Xue Cao + 3 more

Purpose In the digital transformation era, firms usually carry out the digital human capital investment to realize transformation. However, the investment in digital human capital has not received adequate attention for its effect on firm financial performance. This study aims to investigate the mechanism of the digital human capital investment in firm performance. Design/methodology/approach Using listed industrial firms’ recruitment data in China, combining the Chinese Stock Market Research and China National Occupation Skill Standards, this study adopts large-scale text analysis to quantify the digital human capital investment and econometric models to investigate the mediating impacts of organizational and technological resource use. Findings The result reveals that digital human capital investment improves firm financial performance in profitability and growth indirectly through the mediation roles of organizational and technological resource use. Furthermore, there is direct influence on growth. Given the emerging contribution of introducing digital human capital investment on technological resource use, organizational resource use and firm performance, firm managers should pay more attention to hiring, training and enhancing workforce with digital skills. Originality/value Traditionally, digital human capital has been measured by disclosed information. Differently, this paper has measured the digital human capital investment from job posting perspective and empirically evaluated its effect on firm performance through organizational and technological resource use. This study contributes to the cross-field of knowledge and innovation. Moreover, the findings suggest that the use of organizational resources has a positive influence on the use of technical resources, playing a role which provides more practical implications for organization management.

Modeling critical success factors for ISO/IEC 17025 implementation: a DEMATEL-based approach
  • Feb 26, 2026
  • International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management
  • Evangelia G Panagiotidou + 4 more

Purpose The Management System Standard ISO/IEC 17025 aims to enhance the performance, service quality, accuracy and credibility of measurements in accredited testing and calibration laboratories. This study focuses on modeling the critical success factors (CSFs) that contribute to the implementation of ISO/IEC 17025, categorizing them into cause-and-effect groups and determining their causal relationships to support successful adoption of the standard. The study also compares the viewpoints of technical personnel and laboratory managers to identify potential differences in how these expert groups form the underlying cause-effect structure of the CSFs. Design/methodology/approach To address the study objectives, Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory analysis was applied separately to the 2 groups of experts, using data from 23 questionnaires collected in Greece across three types of laboratories: civil engineering, chemical and calibration. The analysis focused on a set of CSFs, which were drawn from a classification developed through a systematic literature review and validated by domain experts. Findings The key causal factors for successfully implementing ISO/IEC 17025 include strong leadership and strategic commitment, motivation for accreditation, regulatory compliance, customer focus and adequate financial and organizational resources. These elements form the foundation for the successful adoption of the standard. Conversely, the primary effect factors (i.e. those that are driven by the causal factors) include the core technical requirements set by ISO/IEC 17025 – such as quality assurance and control, method verification and measurement traceability and technical resources – in addition to performance management and improvement. Comparing the perspectives of the two expert groups in the study, while both largely agree on the key cause-and-effect factors that optimize laboratory performance, they perceive the dynamics driving these relationships differently. Managers tended to emphasize the regulatory framework, customer needs, and strategic planning related to the laboratory's sustainability and financial objectives. In contrast, technical personnel placed stronger emphasis on the standard's technical aspects as the primary effect factors and highlighted leadership and motivation for accreditation as the most critical causal influences. Notably, the factor operational integrity and impartiality was identified as significant factors by both groups; however, technical personnel viewed them primarily as causal and mediating factors, while managers considered them mainly as effect factors. The overarching conclusion of this study is that accreditation alone does not ensure a laboratory's credibility, as the technical requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 are influenced by a combination of managerial factors, as well as organizational integrity and independence. Practical implications The findings of this study encourage laboratory management to treat ISO/IEC 17025 as a strategic framework rather than a technical checklist, emphasizing leadership commitment and the effective allocation of resources to support reliable measurement results. Social implications Public policymakers can use the insights of this study to refine regulatory oversight and procurement practices, reinforcing the independence and quality culture needed to protect public safety and the integrity of tested materials. Originality/value This study is the first to systematically model the CSFs for implementing ISO/IEC 17025 while also comparing the resulting structures between technical personnel and laboratory managers.

A Low-Cost UAV-Based Computer Vision Pipeline for Public Space Measurement: The Case of Sesquilé, Colombia
  • Feb 25, 2026
  • Electronics
  • Pedro Fernando Melo Daza + 4 more

Reliable and up-to-date measurements of public space remain scarce in small and medium-sized towns (SMSTs), where conventional geospatial datasets are often outdated, inconsistent, or inaccessible. This study presents a low-cost and fully reproducible computational pipeline that integrates nadir RGB imagery captured by a DJI Mini 3 UAV with a lightweight instance-segmentation model (Ultralytics YOLOv12-seg) and GIS-based post-processing to derive class-specific surface indicators at the neighborhood scale. The workflow consists of four components: autonomous UAV acquisition over three representative zones of Sesquilé, Colombia; planar mosaic generation and georeferencing using ad hoc ground control points; fine-tuning of a YOLOv12-seg model trained on locally annotated images; and transformation of predicted masks into OSM and GeoPackage geometries for metric analysis. The trained model achieved stable convergence with mask mAP50 ≈ 0.85 and mAP50–95 ≈ 0.70, supported by balanced precision–recall behavior across classes. Spatial outputs exhibit coherent morphological contrasts between the analyzed zones. Buildings occupy 48.17% of the mapped area, vegetation 25.88%, and transport- and plaza-related public space (roadways, sidewalks, and hardscape areas) 25.95%. These proportions capture a clear gradient from a dense urban core to less consolidated peripheral sectors. Results demonstrate that very-high-resolution UAV imagery, combined with open-source deep-learning tools and structured GIS post-processing, can reliably produce operational public-space indicators for SMSTs at low cost. The methodology provides an accessible and scalable framework for evidence-based urban assessment in municipalities with limited technical and financial resources.

  • Feb 16, 2026
  • International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management
  • Quang Xuan Truong + 3 more

Purpose This study aims to investigate how green intellectual capital (GIC) contributes to sustainable business performance (SBP) in Vietnam’s hospitality sector by examining the mediating roles of green human resource management (GHRM) and green innovation (GI), as well as the enabling influence of environmental regulations (ERs) and green transformational leadership (GTL). It extends the resource-based view, the natural resource-based view and institutional theory by focusing on Vietnam’s hospitality industry, which is characterized by labor intensity, uneven regulatory enforcement and cultural barriers to sustainability adoption. Design/methodology/approach A survey was distributed to 436 departmental and general managers from hotels and resorts located in major tourist destinations across Vietnam. The proposed relationships among green capabilities, organizational practices and sustainable outcomes were tested using partial least squares–structural equation modeling. Findings The results show that GIC significantly influences GI and GHRM, which in turn enhance SBP, ERs and GTL exert both direct and indirect effects on performance outcomes. The mediation analysis confirms the complementary roles of GI and GHRM in translating GIC into sustainability outcomes. Although these overall effects are generally positive, the findings also reveal boundary conditions related to financial and technical resources that may constrain the implementation of advanced sustainability initiatives in the hospitality sector. Originality/value This study enriches sustainability research by illustrating how context-specific dimensions of GIC, including frontline environmental behaviors, organizational processes and stakeholder collaboration, are mobilized through ERs and GTL in an emerging economy characterized by weak institutional enforcement. The findings offer practical knowledge for hospitality managers seeking to integrate sustainability into human resource and innovation systems and provide policymakers with evidence on how regulatory alignment and leadership commitment can jointly accelerate sustainable transformation in the hospitality industry.

Ethical Challenges in International Environmental Law and Policy
  • Feb 12, 2026
  • Environment and Social Psychology
  • Muzaffer Yassen + 4 more

International environmental law is a key mechanism for promoting sustainability, but ethical conflicts in legal regimes often undermine its effectiveness. This study is focused on how justice, equity, procedural justice and accountability impact factor treaty compliance, resource allocation, enforcement mechanism, and long-term investments for sustainability. Using a mixture of quantitative analysis and a qualitative discussion of case studies, the results show that treaties with strong ethical commitments have much higher compliance rates, much more equitable access to financial and technical resources, and much better enforcement mechanisms. The study also identifies inequalities in resource allocation; whereby high-income countries receive a disproportionate amount of environmental support relative to low-income countries. Moreover, the authorization of agreements and bills promote intergenerational fairness move resources away from long-term sustainability efforts, which are overruled by short-term political and economic agendas. The findings highlight the need for ethical considerations to be included in treaty modalities to ensure legal compliance, equitability, and universality. Sustainability-related inquiries addressing moral and ethical considerations can help to foster environmental governance in a globalizing world. However, resolving these issues will need more standardized legal entities, better monitoring of compliance and interdisciplinary policy evaluation approaches. The article involved rethinking ethical governance and it is also a call for future research that deals with quantifying ethical obligations, harmonizing international legal frameworks, developing alternative enforcement mechanisms.

Legal Metrology Services in Indonesia in the Post-Decentralisation Era: A Critical Analysis of Regional Readiness for the Implementation of Free Services
  • Feb 12, 2026
  • INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE HUMANITY & MANAGEMENT RESEARCH
  • Lindha Lindha + 1 more

Legal metrology services constitute a strategic technical public service that plays a crucial role in ensuring fairness in commercial transactions, consumer protection, and public trust in market mechanisms. Within the decentralisation agenda, authority for the administration of Legal Metrology in Indonesia has been explicitly delegated to regency and municipal governments, with the exercise of this authority operationalised through the establishment of Legal Metrology Units (Unit Metrologi Legal/UML or UPTD), which have been effectively implemented since 2018. A significant policy shift occurred with the enactment of Law Number 1 of 2022 on Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments (HKPD), which came into effect in January 2024 and abolished verification and re-verification service charges as objects of regional levies. As a consequence, local governments are required to provide legal metrology services free of charge and to finance them through the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). This article aims to critically analyse the readiness of local governments to deliver legal metrology services in the post-decentralisation context and following the abolition of service charges, by comparing regions that have attained the status of Orderly Measurement Regions (Daerah Tertib Ukur/DTU) with those that have not. The study adopts a qualitative approach with a comparative inter-regional design, drawing on policy and budget document analysis as well as in-depth interviews with 18 key informants across six regencies and municipalities. The findings indicate that regional success in achieving DTU status is determined by a combination of local political commitment, fiscal capacity, availability of technical human resources, and service innovation. The article underscores the need for harmonisation of central–local policies, strengthening of institutional capacity, and the development of sustainable financing schemes to ensure that the decentralisation of legal metrology services genuinely generates public value.

Integrating ChatGPT into Online Teaching: An Interpretative Phenomenological Study of Indian Higher Education Educators
  • Feb 10, 2026
  • American Journal of Distance Education
  • Kabir Sharma + 1 more

ABSTRACT This study explores how online educators in Indian higher education interpret and experience the integration of ChatGPT in their teaching practice. Using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis, in-depth interviews were conducted with 38 educators from diverse higher education institutions to examine both enabling and constraining aspects of ChatGPT use. Participants described the tool as supporting instructional efficiency, particularly in relation to teaching preparation and student engagement. Moreover, educators expressed concerns regarding data privacy, content reliability, academic integrity, and the risk of excessive student dependence on AI-generated outputs. Uncertainty surrounding institutional policies and assessment guidelines leads to cautious and selective adoption. From an interpretive perspective, the findings suggest that educators view ChatGPT not simply as a technical resource but as a tool that requires ongoing professional judgment and ethical consideration. By foregrounding educators’ lived experiences, this study addresses an important gap in the literature, particularly within the Indian online higher education context, where qualitative evidence on faculty engagement with generative AI remains limited.

Toward Effective Educational Supervision in Yemen: A Hybrid Fuzzy Delphi and Clustering Analysis of Technical Barriers.
  • Feb 9, 2026
  • F1000Research
  • Riyadh Ghaleb A Alshameri + 4 more

Comprehensive educational supervision is essential for ensuring quality teaching, fostering professional development, and supporting institutional capacity building. However, its implementation encounters numerous structural, technical, and human resource challenges. This study aimed to identify, validate, rank, and cluster the technical barriers affecting comprehensive educational supervision in Amanat Al Asimah, Yemen. This aligns with national reform goals by offering strategic insights to improve supervisory systems, thereby enhancing teaching quality, institutional performance, and educational resilience in fragile contexts. This study employed a three-phase mixed-methods approach. Initially, a literature review identified 11 key barriers to effective supervision. These were validated using the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM), involving 16 experienced educational supervisors to assess the consensus and suitability of the items. Subsequently, a quantitative survey targeting 370 teachers was conducted to evaluate their perceived severity. Fuzzy set theory was used to aggregate and defuzzify the responses, generating crisp scores for prioritization. Finally, K-means clustering was applied to segment the barriers based on their impacts. FDM analysis confirmed the validity of all 11 identified barriers, with a domain-level threshold of 0.093 and an average expert consensus of 89.77%, indicating strong agreement. The fuzzy set-based evaluation highlighted three top-priority challenges: weak supervisory competencies, limited ability to develop effective supervisory plans, and poor supervisor-teacher relationships. K-means clustering grouped the barriers into three segments: one high-priority barrier, seven moderate-priority concerns, and three low-priority issues. Notably, weak supervisory competencies emerged as the most critical barrier, isolated in a high-priority cluster. These findings provide evidence-based guidance for policy and strategic interventions aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of supervision systems in fragile educational settings. The study concludes with recommendations for strengthening supervisory competencies, improving resource allocation, and fostering trust-based supervisor-teacher relationships, thereby contributing to the quality of education and institutional resilience in Yemen.

Genetic Diversity of Indigenous Sahelian Goat Populations in Mali Using Microsatellite Markers
  • Feb 6, 2026
  • Journal of Advances in Biology & Biotechnology
  • Oumar Ouattara + 5 more

The Genetic characterization of indigenous breeds of small ruminants in Mali, particularly goats, was limited 18 years ago, and this situation persists due to a lack of economic, technical, and human resources. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the genetic diversity of Sahelian goats in smallholder farming communities in Mali. In total, 80 samples, divided into five sub-populations from the localities of Kayes, Baraoueli, Ségou, Bla, and San, were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using 18 microsatellite markers. Twelve (12) markers proved to be polymorphic, with a polymorphism rate of 66.66%. The markers ILSTS87, INRA132, ILSTS005, SRCRSP5, SRCRSP7, and BM6506 were found to be monomorphic (constant) in all animals in this study. A total of 32 genotypes were identified. Polymorphism Information Content (PIC) ranged from 0.07 to 0.49 for the MAF209 and MAF65 markers, respectively. MAF65 had the highest PIC and genetic diversity. For the goat population as a whole, the expected heterozygosity (He) was 0.311±0.02 with an observed heterozygosity (Ho) of 0.518±0.04. The San and Ségou subpopulations had the lowest polymorphism rate (61.11%). Principal coordinate analysis of genetic data showed that animals from the same locality have more genetic similarities with each other than with animals from other localities. The present results will guide decision-makers in choosing future management approaches to improve the productivity and profitability of Sahelian goats in order to encourage farmers to preserve this breed.

Influence of county resource planning on sanitation service delivery at Makueni County government in Kenya
  • Feb 2, 2026
  • African Journal of Empirical Research
  • Kipngetich Towett + 2 more

Devolution of governance in Kenya was intended to improve service delivery at the county level. However, many counties are still facing substantial challenges in meeting the needs of their populations. A key constraint is the inadequate allocation of resources, which significantly impairs the capacity of county governments to effectively provide essential services, including healthcare, education, and infrastructure. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of county resource planning on sanitation service delivery in Makueni County government in Kenya. The study was grounded in the Max Weber theory of bureaucracy. A descriptive survey research design was used. The study population was 208 stakeholders involved in sanitation services in Makueni County, out of which 30% was selected as the sample size using the stratified random sampling method. In total, the sample size was 66 participants. Questionnaires and an observation guide were used for data collection. A pilot study was done to assess the reliability and validity of the instrument. Primary data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The descriptive statistics comprised percentage frequencies, means, and standard deviation, and were presented using tables. These statistics helped to establish the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The findings revealed that county resource planning is widely institutionalized and plays a critical role in shaping sanitation services. The study concluded that county resource planning strategies are a foundational determinant of sanitation service delivery in Makueni County. It recommends that Makueni County Government should strengthen its resource planning strategies by ensuring not only the adequate allocation of financial, human, and technical resources but also the timely disbursement of funds to avoid bureaucratic delays. Stronger integration between county planning frameworks and national sanitation priorities should be pursued to enhance coherence, legitimacy, and long-term sustainability.

Elimination is not the end: experience in handling the last residual filariasis focus in China.
  • Feb 2, 2026
  • Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene
  • Chuizhao Xue + 5 more

A residual focus of bancroftian filariasis was found in Fuchuan County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China in 2007, and the response measures were implemented with participation and guidance from the National Institute of Parasitic Diseases at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC). This study aims to assess the infection sources and summarize the management processes of the residual focus to fill the gap of the re-emergence of focus after elimination as a public health problem. The assessment of the infection sources in the residual filariasis focus was conducted by on-site investigation and review of the database that was created and maintained by the China CDC. Historical records that were created by the China/Fuchuan CDC and maintained by the China CDC were retrospectively reviewed to summarize the experience of the handling process for filariasis. Statistical tests and logistic regression were performed to analyse the epidemic characteristics of the residual filariasis focus. A total of 7308 test records were reviewed, of which 919 were from the focus's natural village while 6389 were from other affected populations. Age and sex significantly affect filariasis infection, and the high-risk population was the 50-69y age group and males in this focus. The on-site evaluation result and database monitoring showed that the focus did not spread locally or to neighbouring places and thus did not pose a public health threat. The emergency response process (ERP) for residual filariasis focus was developed and the rapid report and survey of the first case serves as the pre-trigger signal for ERP. Implementation of the ERP should account for local technical resource availability, representing the optimal approach under capacity-constrained conditions. Maintenance of a sensitive and effective surveillance system and stockpiling of technologies and medicines are key to consolidating the elimination of filariasis and preventing its re-emergence. The disposal process is a systematic and scientific action that must follow epidemiological and medical principles according to local conditions.

  • Tatjana Popović Milovanović + 7 more

This Technical Resource presents genome sequence data for three strains of the bacterial pathogen Xanthomonas euvesicatoria pv. euvesicatoria (Xeu) collected in Serbia. We isolated these strains from pepper crops showing bacterial spot symptoms in 2016 at the municipality of Irig, in the Srem district. The presented data comprise raw sequencing reads and annotated, contig-level genome assemblies. We checked for the presence of sequences of known type-3 secretion system (T3SS) effector genes and plasmid-like sequences. Phylogenomic reconstruction revealed that the three strains fell in the same clade within Xeu. Strain X13 is most closely related to strain 66b, collected in Bulgaria in 2012. Strains X22 and X31 are most closely related to Tu-10 collected in the Southeastern Anatolia region of Türkiye in 2020. In common with other members of the clade, all three strains share a 75 kb plasmid that carries T3SS effector genes avrBs3, xopBA, xopAQ and xopE. Additionally, strain X13 shares extensive sequence similarity to the pXCV183 plasmid, including T3SS effector gene xopAX, and shares extensive sequence similarity with plasmid pXap41, including T3SS effector gene xopE3. This difference in plasmid content might contribute to the observed difference in virulence among the Serbian Xeu strains. The three Serbian strains lack a 31 kb plasmid, pLMG730.4, that is seen in several Vietnamese and Canadian strains within this clade of Xeu. The data presented will be a useful resource for future molecular epidemiology and genomic surveillance of this pathogen in the Balkan region, augmenting the previously available draft genome sequences of Xeu strains 66b (Bulgaria) and 83M (North Macedonia).

This study examines the cultural and linguistic relevance of the Manual de Estilo de la AP for Spanish-language and bilingual journalism education in the United States. We used a targeted qualitative content analysis of 10 alphabet sections meticulously coded for themes such as U.S. Spanish borrowings, regionalisms, grammar, identity, immigration, and government/education terminology. The results show the manual is a strong technical resource, but favors a “neutral” Spanish overlooking key features of U.S. Spanish and language diversity. The manual has pedagogical utility, and practical application, but has limitations. We recommend supplemental resources and more inclusive language practices for bilingual journalism educators and students.

The article is devoted to the development and optimization of a database for an automated system of military property accounting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The relevance of the research is determined by the need to increase the efficiency of managing material and technical resources under wartime conditions, when data accuracy, operational speed, and information security are of strategic importance. A relational model consisting of six main entities (Category, Property, Storage, Movement, Inventory, Responsible_Personnel) was developed to ensure data integrity and consistency. Examples of SQL queries are provided to demonstrate data selection, aggregation, analytical operations, and accountability control. Particular attention is paid to the impact of indexing on query execution speed in the PostgreSQL DBMS. An experimental study was conducted to measure the average execution time of queries before and after the creation of indexes. It was found that the use of B-tree and composite indexes accelerates the execution of WHERE, JOIN, and ORDER BY queries by 11–16 times. The influence of data volume, denormalization, and statistics updates on system performance was analyzed. Recommendations are proposed regarding table structuring, transactional integrity maintenance, backup strategies, and the application of optimized indexes in distributed architectures. The obtained results have practical significance for developing reliable military information systems capable of fast data processing, transparent resource tracking, and robust information protection under cyberthreat conditions.

The study is oriented toward a critical reassessment and systematization of the determinants that shape performance outcomes for enterprises in the professional cleaning industry, framed through the integrated “speed–quality–cost” model. The analysis records the sector’s salient challenges in 2024–2025: an acute labor shortage, rising unit costs of material and technical resources, and the continued evolution of hygiene requirements in the post-pandemic period. The stated objective is the theoretical substantiation and practical validation of a model for optimizing cleaning operations, developed through the synthesis of a five-year body of field observations and the adaptation of lean production principles to service processes. The methodological design draws on an analytical review of current scholarly literature indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, alongside the processing of empirical indicators reflecting labor productivity, the quality level of disinfection measures, and parameters of operational profitability. The results indicate that the implementation of strictly regulated and standardized operating procedures (SOP), combined with color-based zoning of cleaning inventory, delivers a pronounced acceleration of task execution: cleaning rates increase by 28–45% while the volume of complaints decreases by 60–72%. Additional evidence supports the priority role of algorithmizing the action sequence according to the “from clean zones to dirty zones” principle as the dominant mechanism for reducing the probability of cross-contamination; the same logic is also associated with optimizing material costs by 12–20%. The systematized conclusions have applied significance for the management tier of service organizations, facility management professionals, and experts operating within the domain of sanitary and epidemiological safety.
