This issue of the Journal of Physics: Conference Series contains the proceedings of the 2022 International Conference on Acoustics, Fluid Mechanics and Engineering and the 12th Green’s Function Seminar (AFME&GFS 2022). The conference took place in Nanjing, China during December 25th-27th, 2022 (hybrid form), with the attendance of about 100 scholars, experts, researchers and scientists in related areas. The conference aims at creating an active and stimulating forum where current research results and technical advances can be exchanged and the development of acoustics, fluid mechanics, engineering and Green’s function can be promoted. For this reason, specialists, researchers, and other related industry personnel in these fields have come from all over the world to present their scientific research findings and innovative approaches to related issues. To make this conference on schedule, we have a three-part plenary conference including a keynote speech part delivered by five speakers from different countries. Among them, Prof. Chunyan Ji from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, China performed a keynote speech on Hydrodynamics of Floating Breakwater System. In her presentation, an innovative cylindrical dual pontoon-net FB was designed to enhance the wave attenuation capacity of the FB, and then dual-module FB system was manufactured as the prototype test model. And a fully nonlinear time-domain model based on a coupled iterative solution of water integral equation, floating body and net dynamic equations, was proposed to simulate the interaction of waves and the FB system. We are very optimistic that all participants will acquire new ideas and knowledge from this conference to enhance the capability toward acoustics, fluid mechanics, engineering and Green’s function. We have received tremendous paper submissions from all over China and abroad. Through a rigorous peer-review process, all submissions were performed double blind review to check their quality of content, level of innovation, significance, originality and legibility. Based on the expertise review comments, some excellent papers were accepted and the corresponding authors were invited to submit their papers for final publication. The accepted papers included topics on: Linear Acoustics, Hydrodynamics, Gas Dynamic, Engineering Fluid Mechanics, Green’s function in Water Wave Theory, etc.We would like to thank the Conference Chair and all the Committee members for the procedures that lead to the organization of this event, to our colleagues who contributed to its realization, to the members of the Journal of Physics: Conference Series, for their patience while waiting for the final versions of the papers and to every author who has contributed with an article to these proceedings. We hope you will benefit from all the manuscripts of the proceedings and learn some new and novel ideas. The Committee of AFME&GFS 2022List of Committee member is available in this pdf.
