Iron deficiency anemia is a global public health problem in young women which is influenced by blood loss, diet, physical activity and socioeconomic conditions. It can cause various impacts on growth and development, resistance to infectious diseases, activity, concentration, and intelligence. Support for understanding and intake of iron through community service activities is expected to strengthen cadres at SMPN 9 Denpasar in setting a positive example in a healthy lifestyle to prevent anemia which is still a problem for those who can afford it at the school. The method used were by providing counseling and giving supplement tablets in addition to cadre, as well as providing partner assistance. After the implementation of community service, there was an increase in cadre knowledge of 70.9% (followed by 25 cadre) regarding iron deficiency anemia and management of food sources. In addition, 25 packages of iron tablets have been distributed to cadres and all cadres have consumed the iron tablets regularly and there have been no side effects.
