This study aims to predict the factors influencing the continuance intention of food delivery apps through an integrated expectation-confirmation model and task-technology fit. The study collected data from 353 users of food delivery apps and analyzed it using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the study show that task-technology fit significantly influences the confirmation of expectations and perceived usefulness of food delivery apps, which in turn positively influence satisfaction and continuance intention to use food delivery apps. The mediating effects of satisfaction on the relationships between confirmation of expectations and continuance intention, as well as between perceived usefulness and continuance intention, were also significant. The study’s findings confirmed the moderating effect of personal innovativeness on the relationship between task-technology fit and confirmation of expectations. Furthermore, a multigroup analysis shows no significant differences between age and gender groups. This study contributed to the expectation-confirmation model by integrating task-technology fit and personal innovativeness as crucial constructs that significantly influence the food delivery apps’ post-adoption. The findings of the current study provide useful guidance for restaurant chain managers in designing innovative apps that offer a seamless customer experience and encourage customers to place orders through food delivery apps.

ABSTRACT This study investigates how artificial intelligence (AI) drives green innovation (GI) in the Turkish construction sector by examining the strategic roles of organizational agility (OA) and technological readiness (TR). Grounded in Dynamic Capabilities Theory (DCT), the research explores how AI enhances sustainability performance through adaptive organizational processes and reconfigurable resources. A quantitative design employing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze survey data collected from 302 managerial-level professionals across construction organizations. Results reveal that AI significantly influences both GI and OA, while OA not only contributes directly to GI but also mediates the AI–GI relationship. Furthermore, TR moderates these relationships, amplifying the positive effects of AI on agility and of agility on green innovation. This suggests that firms with higher technological readiness are better positioned to convert AI-driven insights into sustainable outcomes. By integrating AI into decision-making, resource optimization, and predictive analytics, construction firms can enhance their dynamic capabilities and improve sustainability performance. The study extends DCT by clarifying how AI-enabled agility operates as a pathway for sustainable transformation in emerging markets and offers actionable insights for engineering managers seeking to foster innovation, digital resilience, and environmental responsibility in an increasingly technology-driven industry.

Tourism development has increasingly become central to sustainable economic strategies, particularly in culturally and environmentally rich nations such as Indonesia. Despite the sector's contribution to GDP and employment, challenges in balancing environmental preservation, cultural integrity, and infrastructure development persist. This study aims to investigate the role of local tourism governance policies—specifically nature, cultural activity, recreation, and infrastructure development policies—in fostering sustainable tourism. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 200 local government staff responsible for tourism in Indonesia. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was employed to assess the structural relationships between policy types, community participation, and sustainable tourism development. The findings confirm significant positive effects of all four policy domains on sustainable tourism. Moreover, community participation significantly moderates the effectiveness of cultural and recreational policies but not nature or infrastructure policies. The study contributes theoretically by integrating governance frameworks with sustainability discourse, emphasizing the differentiated roles of policy types and community involvement. Practically, the findings highlight the need for policymakers to integrate inclusive participation mechanisms—especially in technical policy areas—to ensure comprehensive tourism sustainability. The results provide actionable insights for designing context-sensitive, community-empowered tourism strategies in developing nations.

The current study investigated the impact of change management practices on employee engagement in selected private universities in Rajasthan. The research aimed to understand how different aspects of change management influenced the involvement, enthusiasm, and commitment of employees working in higher education institutions. A structured survey questionnaire was developed that included constructs such as readiness for change, employee participation in the change process, change-related communication effectiveness, leadership support, overall change management practices, and employee commitment to change. Employee engagement was measured through indicators related to enthusiasm, involvement, and emotional connection with the organization. Data were collected from 400 academic and administrative staff across private universities in Rajasthan. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The measurement model confirmed the reliability and validity of the constructs, as factor loadings, composite reliability, and average variance extracted values were within the acceptable range. Discriminant validity was also established through HTMT ratios. The structural model results indicated that change management practices had a significant and positive effect on employee engagement. Leadership support and effective communication emerged as particularly strong predictors of engagement. Employee participation and commitment also contributed positively, while readiness for change showed a supportive role in shaping engagement outcomes. The findings suggested that well-structured change management practices strengthened employee engagement in higher education institutions.

This study investigates the mediating role of customer delight in the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction within the tourism and hospitality sector. Drawing on data collected from 400 valid questionnaires distributed to international tourists in Antalya, Turkey, the proposed model was tested using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The findings confirm that multiple dimensions of service quality significantly influence customer delight, which in turn enhances customer satisfaction. Moreover, delight mediates the relationships between employee attitudes and behaviors, waiting time, and satisfaction, highlighting its role as an emotional bridge that transforms service encounters into more impactful customer outcomes. The results reinforce the idea that delight is not merely an extension of satisfaction but a distinct construct that plays a crucial role in shaping loyalty and long-term engagement. For managers and practitioners, the study emphasizes the importance of focusing on service quality elements such as safety, sociability, responsiveness, and staff behavior to foster delight, improve satisfaction, and encourage repeat patronage. By integrating customer delight into the service quality–satisfaction framework, this research extends SERVQUAL theory and contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of how emotional responses drive competitive advantage in tourism and hospitality.

Sustainable tourism has become a priority as environmental pressures on the hospitality sector intensify. Despite increasing promotion of green hotels, a persistent gap remains between pro-environmental intentions and actual booking behavior. Prior applications of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) largely focus on developed economies and offer limited insight into how digital platforms, organizational credibility, and information-seeking behavior shape green hotel decisions in emerging tourism markets. To address this gap, this study extends TPB by integrating social media marketing, environmental knowledge, organizational green practices awareness, self-image in environmental protection, and consumer information-seeking behavior. Survey data from 538 foreign tourists staying in hotels in Turkey were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The findings indicate that awareness of organizational green practices is the strongest predictor of consumer attitude, followed by self-image, social media marketing, and environmental knowledge. Consumer attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control shape purchase intention, while purchase behavior is driven by intention, perceived behavioral control, and information-seeking behavior. Notably, information-seeking behavior exerts a direct and mediating effect on purchase behavior but does not moderate the intention–behavior relationship, indicating a post-intentional verification role.

The rapid development of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK) has given rise to the phenomenon of decreasing the competitiveness of the Senggigi tourist destination as a tourist area that developed earlier. This research aims to analyze the impact of the development of the Mandalika SEZ on reducing the competitiveness of the Senggigi tourist destination by considering the perceptions of tourism stakeholders. The research approach used was quantitative by distributing questionnaires to 115 respondents consisting of Business Actors, Government/Private, Academics, Community, and Media/Influencers. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research results show that promotion and competition variables have a significant effect on destination competitiveness, while facilities and accessibility do not have a significant effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.641 indicates that the exogenous construct has strong explanatory power regarding endogenous variables. These findings confirm that adaptive promotional strategies and increasing competitiveness based on collaboration are the keys to the revitalization of Senggigi amidst the dominance of the Mandalika SEZ development.

As digital tools reshape academic writing, digital multimodal composing (DMC) is increasingly relevant in EFL contexts, yet links between digital multimodal composing competence, cognitive, and affective factors remain underdeveloped. This study investigated the direct and indirect relationships among digital multimodal composing competence (DMCC), academic writing self-efficacy (AWSE), cognitive engagement (CE), and writing enjoyment (WE) in higher education. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data from 215 students across 18 universities were analyzed. Results revealed that DMCC strongly predicted AWSE and also significantly predicted CE and WE. AWSE significantly influenced CE and WE, while CE did not significantly predict WE. These findings highlight the mediating role of self-efficacy in linking digital competence to both cognitive engagement and writing enjoyment, suggesting that competence alone is insufficient without confidence. Pedagogically, scaffolded multimodal tasks with reflective guidance can strengthen competence and confidence, leading to greater cognitive engagement and enjoyment in writing. Future research should examine additional mediators and adopt longitudinal or cross-cultural designs to validate and extend these findings.

Omnichannel integration is transforming grocery retail, redefining customer interactions, experiences, and relationship management across digital and physical channels. This study investigates how omnichannel integration in grocery retail—including promotion, product and price, transaction information, order fulfilment, and customer service—influences satisfaction, trust, and customer loyalty in South Africa, while also examining the moderating role of prior online experience. Survey data from 185 consumers who shop both online and in-store were analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results show that integrated product and price is the strongest predictor of satisfaction, which subsequently influences trust and customer loyalty. Contrary to expectations, prior online experience did not significantly moderate these relationships, suggesting that rapid digital adoption and intuitive omnichannel design have largely closed the gap between novice and experienced shoppers. The study contributes to omnichannel and relationship marketing literature in an emerging market context and demonstrates that cohesive, user-friendly omnichannel strategies enhance satisfaction, trust, and customer loyalty, offering actionable guidance for grocery retailers seeking to strengthen customer relationships.

ABSTRACT Background and Context Traditional text and blockbased programming often limits the development of computational thinking (CT) skills, while educational robotics (ER) provides a handson alternative that can better foster these skills. However, how robotics environments promote CT remains unclear. This study focuses on Chinese high school students engaged in programming activities using ER. Objective This study aims to develop and validate an integrative model that explains learner-centered and technology-centered determinants of students’ CT skills. Method A cross‐sectional empirical study was conducted with 339 high school students who completed both a questionnaire and a programming fundamentals test. We applied Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLSSEM) to assess the measurement and structural models, Importance-Performance Matrix Analysis (IPMA) to identify priority factors, and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) analysis to capture non‐linear relationships and rank variable importance. Findings Task‐Technology fit (TTF), learning motivation (LM), cognitive engagement, and prior programming knowledge each exhibited significant positive effects on CT, with LM (β = 0.333, p < .001) and TTF (β = 0.251, p < .01) emerging as the most influential factors. The integrated model accounted for 54.1% of the variance in CT. IPMA and ANN results corroborated the centrality of motivation and fit in enhancing CT. Implications By extending the Cognitive Affective Theory of Multimedia Learning through incorporation of TAM and TTF constructs, this study highlights the dual importance of aligning robotics features with task requirements and fostering student motivation.

This research uses a combination of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the trust construct to investigate what variables impact consumers' intentions to utilize PayLater services. Partially Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to undertake the quantitative cross-sectional design of the study. According to the results, users' intents to use PayLater are positively and significantly impacted by trust, but there is no significant association between attitude toward the action, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. These results indicate that users’ confidence in system security, data protection, and the reliability of service providers serves as the primary determinant of PayLater adoption. Therefore, this study concludes that trust plays a more decisive role than psychological and social factors in shaping users’ engagement with PayLater services. Consequently, PayLater providers should focus on enhancing transparency, strengthening security systems, and safeguarding user data to build trust and encourage sustainable service usage.

The rapid growth of online transportation services in Indonesia has significantly reshaped urban mobility by offering greater convenience and efficiency. However, persistent issues such as system inaccuracies, usability problems, and information quality may affect user satisfaction. This study investigates the determinants of user satisfaction with an online transportation application by integrating the End-User Computing Satisfaction framework and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), with perceived usefulness serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was applied using data collected from 390 active Maxim users in the Greater Jakarta area between January and March 2025. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results indicate that perceived usefulness has a strong and significant effect on user satisfaction. Accuracy, ease of use, and content quality significantly influence perceived usefulness, while timeliness and format do not. Furthermore, accuracy, ease of use, timeliness, and format directly affect user satisfaction, whereas content does not show a significant direct effect. These findings imply that online transportation providers should prioritize system accuracy, usability, timely information delivery, and interface design to enhance perceived usefulness and user satisfaction, thereby strengthening their competitive position.

This study analyzes the effect of Lean Management Practices (LMP) on Innovation Performance (IP) through the mediating role of Absorptive Capacity (AC) in Indonesia’s food and beverage industry. A structured questionnaire adapted from validated instruments (Gaspersz, 2007; Cohen & Levinthal, 1990; Damanpour, 1991) was distributed to 200 managers and supervisors from food manufacturing firms listed in the Indonesian Ministry of Industry registry, yielding 180 valid responses (90% response rate). Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0, assessing reliability, convergent, and discriminant validity (HTMT ≤ 0.90). The results indicate that Lean Management strongly influences Absorptive Capacity (β = 0.919, p < 0.001) and both directly and indirectly enhances Innovation Performance (β = 0.690 and 0.725, respectively). Effect sizes (f² = 0.482 – 5.431) and R² > 0.83 confirm the model’s high explanatory power, while confidence intervals (95%) validate the path significance. These findings demonstrate that lean implementation enhances innovation effectiveness primarily through knowledge assimilation and transformation. The study’s main limitation is its single-sector, self-reported cross-sectional design, which may introduce common-method bias. Future research should apply multi-method or longitudinal approaches to increase generalizability.

Purpose: The concerns around the implementation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) in Nigeria have been on whether it has enhanced proper accountability and financial transparency in the management of public sector funds. Therefore, this study sought to evaluate the influence of TSA adoption on sustainable public-sector fund management in Southwest Nigeria. Design/Methodology/Approach: A descriptive survey design method was adopted involving accountants and revenue officers in the state Accountant-General offices and the Internal Revenue Agency, respectively, in the Nigerian southwestern states. The Taro Yamane formula yielded the required sample size of 340, and primary data were collected on the study variables using a structured 5-point scale questionnaire. The Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) technique was used for the parameter estimates and the test of validity and reliability using the Cronbach’s alpha and composite reliability statistics, Fornell-Larcker criterion, cross-loadings, and the Heterotrait-Monotrait (HTMT) ratio. Findings: Results from the analysis showed that the main TSA exerts a significant impact on accountability and financial transparency in public sector fund management. Similarly, the subsidiary TSA significantly affects accountability and financial transparency in public-sector fund management. The findings established TSA as a key determinant of accountability and financial transparency in public sector fund management. This authenticates the adoption of TSA as an innovation in public-sector finance that drives sustainable fund management. Research Limitation: The data for the study were sourced only from the Accountant-General's offices and state internal revenue agencies across southwest Nigeria. Practical Implication: The findings highlight the potential of the Treasury Single Account in advancing accountability and transparency in public sector fund management. Social Implication: This underscores the adoption of TSA principles as a core policy thrust for achieving sustainable fund management across all tiers of government in Nigeria. Originality/ Value: This study demonstrated that sustainable fund management in the public sector is associated with innovations such as the Treasury Single Account, which has a positive and significant impact on public fund management.
