  • I Wayan Sukanadi + 3 more

For the sake of tourism recovery during the post-pandemic period, a storynomic promotion strategy is currently being developed by Indonesian government, and is considered effective in triggering the curiosity and visiting interest of tourists. This study aims to identify the role of storynomics as a moderating variable in strengthening motivation and interest to visit the Tebing Tegallinggah Temple site in Bedulu village, Gianyar, Bali. First, storytelling stories were collected through field research by interviewing selected informants, as well as randomly distributing questionnaires. Second, historical data and documentation were classified and analyzed qualitatively, while respondents' answers were assessed using Smart PLS. Third, the results of data analysis are presented through narrative descriptions supported by tables and figures for visualization. The results showed that motivation and storynomic had a less significant effect on the visiting interest of the respondents, most of whom were young. This research is expected to speed up the tourism recovery as well as to contribute to the sustainability of archaeological heritage as special interest tourist destination in Gianyar regency in particular and Indonesia in general.

The Moderating Role of Market Domain in Neuromarketing Adoption: A UTAUT-Based Investigation Among Marketing Professionals in an Emerging Economy
  • Dec 31, 2025
  • Periodicals of Management Studies
  • Emadul Karim + 1 more

This paper investigates the moderating role of market domain in the relations of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) constructs and behavior intentions of neuromarketing technologies among the marketing professionals in Pakistan. Although it may sound alluring to businesses worldwide, with or without conscious deliberation, Neuromarketing is still being adopted at random, especially in the developing world. This study aims to assess the relationship that exists between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions and how these connections can result in adoption intentions; and more to the point how these connections differ among different market regions through the application of framework of the UTAUT. A total of 392 marketing professionals were sampled and data analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural. Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Findings demonstrate important direct performance impacts. effort expectancy (b = 0.243, p< 0.001), effort expectancy (b = 0.269, p < 0.001) and facilitating. conditions (b = 0.208, p < 0.001) of behavioral intentions. At the same time, the effect of direct significance of social influence was not found (b = 0.021, p = 0.716). Importantly, market domain was moderated significantly, where it acted as moderator (positive with performance expectancy, b=0.147, p<0.001, facilitating conditions, b= -0.239, p<0.001 and negative with social. My influencing power, beta=-0.239, p<0.001) significant. The recently modeled model accounted for the variation of the adoption intention (R^2 = 0.699) by 69.9%. These findings broaden UTAUT theory by showing that technology use context within a professional environment essentially changes technology adoption situations and invalidates the general applicability of technology acceptance models. Practical implications are about the importance of neuromarketing vendors and organizations developing approaches appropriate for the realm they are operating in, as opposed to using a one-size-fits-all approach. The study adds to the literature on markets from the upstreaming perspective by offering empirical evidence from the collectivist context that characterizes Pakistani culture.

  • Dec 31, 2025
  • Kapadokya Üniversitesi
  • Nursel Arıcı

Objective: In order to prevent plaque formation during fixed orthodontic treatment, bracket and band surfaces have been coated with a selenium-containing antimicrobial agent, and the same agent has been incorporated into adhesive resin materials. The aim of this study is to evaluate and compare the clinical performance, in terms of plaque accumulation, of the combination of selenium-coated brackets and selenium-enhanced adhesive resin (re-search group) versus the combination of conventional brackets and light-cured adhesive resin (control group) during fixed orthodontic treatments. Materials and Methods: Seventeen female subjects with skeletal Class I malocclusion were included in this study. A total of 142 selenium-coated brackets and 145 conventional brackets were bonded by the same researcher using a split-mouth design. Selenium-enhanced adhesive resin was used with the selenium-coated brackets, while a conventional adhesive resin was used with the conventional brackets. In all patients, the incidence of plaque accumulation was determined using a computerized image analysis system based on monthly photographic records during the first three months of fixed orthodontic treatment. Results: After three months, the average plaque percentage in the selenium-coated bracket group was not significantly lower" veya "did not differ significantly compared to the conventional bracket group. In intra-group comparisons, time and jaw had a statistically sig-nificant effect (p < 0.05), while no statistically significant difference was found between the groups for the bonded teeth" veya "between the test and control teeth (p > 0.05). Conclusion: No statistically significant difference in plaque accumulation was found between the selenium-coated and conventional bracket combinations.

  • Nov 16, 2025
  • Uniosun Journal of Engineering and Environmental Sciences
  • A.O Ajayi + 1 more

The principle of Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) was applied to examine the fear of crime on park users at selected urban parks in Lagos State, Nigeria. The objectives were to evaluate the types of security measures, as well as the types and frequency of crime in urban parks.Incidental sampling technique was employed to gather information from 300 patrons in the parks. In addition, site observations, crime mapping, and interviews with park users as well as managers were used to collect data. Descriptive statistical methods were used for data analysis.Findings revealed that the parks had very few crime generators. In addition, low levels of crime occurrences were observed due to the physical settings and their locations within the city. Although the majority of the park users (90.4%) felt safe in the parks, they still had fear of crime relating to crimes that they had experienced somewhere apart from the parks under study. The study concluded that security-related environmental design attributes had a significant effect on the users’ safety perception of the parks. Suggestions on how to improve safety conditions in the parks were made.

The problem of poverty has a very urgent nature and has no clear boundaries. This is due not only to its continued upward trend, but also to its impact that transcends the economic sphere, encompasses social aspects and even threatens political stability within the country. Most countries with large populations also tend to have higher poverty rates compared to countries with smaller populations. Likewise, with the level of education and TPAK where inmany communities with low economies, opportunities to get adequate education, ranging from elementary to higher, are often limited, furthermore, if TPAK increases this can have a positive impact on economic growth. This study uses time series data with variables of population growth, education level, , TPAK, and poverty rate in the last 26 years, namely 1996-2021 until the number of observations is 26 observation points. Based on the results of data processing and testing simultaneously shows that population growth, education rate, and labor force participation rate (TPAK) affect simultaneously in Papua Province. Population growth has a negative and significant effect on poverty. The level of education, that is, the average length of schooling, has a negative and insignificant effect on poverty. The labor force participation rate (TPAK) has a negative and significant effect on poverty. keyword: Population Growth, Education Level, TPAK, Poverty
