Procrastination, affecting up to 95% of college students, often stems from self-regulation challenges and contributes to stress and reduced academic performance. Faculty can mitigate these issues by incorporating structured routines, scaffolding assignments, and teaching time management skills. A practical strategy is integrating a user-friendly course calendar into the front page of the LMS. Daily, structured, in-class reviews of the course calendar, assignments, and deadlines provide clarity, reduce stress, and improve submission rates. Over time, students lead these reviews, fostering engagement and accountability. This simple, scalable intervention enhances preparedness, promotes equitable access to success strategies, and supports mental health, benefiting both students and faculty in higher education.
